This tour brings together 4 slightly random areas - the Malay area, the view of the modern reclaimed area, a Chinese temple and the botanical garden. You go between them by bus. Slightly random but the guide stitched these together quite well when talking to us on the bus. All were interesting and gave us a feel for Singapore. My main criticism though was that the guide spoke quite softly, so when we were outside it was hard to hear him. He also liked to tell jokes and ask us questions, which meant he talked for a long time. This meant that in the extreme heat and with a group of 26 people we had to stand really close to him and strain to hear, for say 10 minutes at a time. I think he could have done a lot more on the bus, where he had a microphone and it was cold.

The tour was good. But the bus driver was uncooperative. Rather than dropping us at the front of the Paradox Hotel he dropped us at the back in a side street.

Monica is very knowledgeable and has shared historical stuff with us . Tour was organized and covered areas we would have to go to on our own ; this was able to simplify for us so we can cover lots of areas in 3.5 hours .

Found tour quite boring Spent too long looking at a mural beside the mosque leaving very little time to enjoy the gardens

The tour was pleasant and well organized. Pickup at our hotel worked smoothly. However, the guide was somewhat difficult to understand, especially for those of us who are not native English speakers. On the bus, with a very poor sound system, it was practically impossible. The time spent in the orchid garden was far too short.

Good introduction to some of the sights of Singapore, but the guide we had was difficult to understand, and, on occasion, spoke very softly. Rather bizarrely he seemed to find virtually everything he said amusing, and laughed at his own remarks.

Very informative. Good to see where things are in relation to each other and lots of insider information about best places to go. Suitable for anyone, small amount of walking involved.
