Tip is to take the cruise where you can see the light show. Our cruise was meant to depart at 8:30 for 40 minutes, but it left early at 8:18 and meant we were back at the river cruise dock before 9pm. That’s not a bad thing, but if we’d known more at the time, we would have planned to be on a river cruise that included the light show in front of Marina Bay Sands.

terrible experience as our tickets were not honoured, total waste of money and the operator just looks at you they just do not care or make any effort to rectify. they should be ashamed.

I have never had a problem purchasing through TripAdvisor and have found them a reliable way to book tickets - until this tour! To start with the price was extremely overpriced! The site notes from $34.47 AU but it actually cost $47.40! The email confirmation was in USD which was strange too! Arriving at the departure location, tickets were selling for $28 SGD or $32.88 AUD. $15 is too high a commission for a 40 minute boat ride. Then the ticket office advised no reserved time, which was frustrating as the line got longer after sunset. The boat ride was nice and we saw some lovely sites - but not for this price!

Arrived at the ticket booth , showed my confirmation email with bar code to be told we couldn’t go on boat without showing a WR code. Staff member and her supervisor named Raymon, not sure of spelling, took my phone to try to get the code with no success. The supervisor then started shouting at me in an aggressive manner so I told him to stop shouting that I was not deaf but he continued. I then walked away to join my friend and tell her what was happening. This man then left the booth and walked over to us and started berating us, two 80 year old women, and said I needed to learn how to control my temper!!!, probably something he has been told himself many times! All of this in a loud and aggressive manner. I then told him to leave us alone or I would film his abusive behaviour so he then walked off. We were shaken and intimidated by his behaviour and found a different company to take the river cruise with. I have reported this incident to the Singapore Tourism Board.

Beautiful scenery. Hard to hear the recording regarding the history if sitting outside on the deck portion of the boat.

I booked a river cruise for 7.30 through TripAdvisor and received e tickets at the time.Turned up at the booking desk at 7.10,on presenting my e ticket I was told it wasn't acceptable and I needed a QR code.Eventually after a frustrating 25 minutes the girl at the desk had resolved the issue but the 7.30 boat had left and we were accommodated on the next one .This was too late for the light show. The girls at the check in were helpful however this was a disappointing experience

Nice cruise but was too short. I would have liked it a little longer. Scenery and talk was fine. Maybe we could have stopped longer to take pictures.

This was one of the worst bookings I made through Viator. I will never book again through Viator. As I am a Google Reviewer Level 7;be sure to receive a terrible review on Google. The QR Code was missing and the two ladies at the counter said they were helpless. So I had to buy new tickets. It is my Birthday and I did not expect this!
