What To Expect
Renters will receive basic instruction in the use of the kayak. Life Jacket and paddle are provided. A changing area is available at the dock and there is a calm area of Salt Marsh up Cape Island Creek behind the city of Cape May to paddle in along with a small beach nearby.

Low-Key Kayak Experience

3.00We enjoy kayaking and looked forward to the trip. The shop is very small and you go through it to show your tickets, then go out onto the dock for vests, paddles and kayak. It was low-key with lots of info on the flora and fauna of the sea marsh. A bit slow for my liking and with a large group (about 10-12) with varying experiences, and the guide was soft spoken, we took off, ahead of everyone else once we could only go in one direction. After a while, scenery looks the same.

5.00Very friendly staff at this business. Kayaks and life jackets were sanitized. The route through the sea marsh was very peaceful and easy to navigate. I really enjoyed the experience.
