I had a fantastic day — a clear five-star experience. Our guide Sachinn was warm, knowledgeable, and passionate, blending history and local stories that kept the group engaged. The fort was a highlight (the guide even described the British cannon salutes when they captured it), and we visited authentic spots off the usual tourist path. Food was a treat — the homemade thali and pakoda felt genuinely local. Sachinn handled logistics smoothly, took photos for the group, and shared useful tips on local customs. Why go: This tour offers history, culture, great food, and friendly service — perfect for first-time visitors wanting more than typical tourist stops. Tip: Wear comfortable shoes and bring water — and try the local snacks. Five stars — highly recommended. I went with Sachinn today and it was a once in a lifetime experience for me. Being able to see the countryside in all directions was breathtaking, and having a guide to detail the history of the fort made the experience memorable.

I enjoyed a lot the tour to Sinhagad and learnt a lot of the history and importance of the place. Our guide Atharva was wonderful! He was very knowledgeable and made our trip very comfortable. He answered all our questions and told us the amazing story of the battles at this place. There is a lot of walking in the tour so take water and comfortable shoes with you. Nice views of the valley from above.

Sinhagad Fort receives positive reviews for its historical significance, natural beauty, and rewarding trekking experience, especially during the monsoon or winter. Visitors enjoy the panoramic views and local food, but some mention challenges like heavy traffic to the top, limited parking, and the fort being in a dilapidated condition.

Sachinn was a wonderful tour guide. He was very gentle and friendly, explaining all the details of the Forte; its rich historical heritage. Also the food we had was yummy!

It was a pleasure going with Sachinn as our tour guide to the fort. He shared a lot of context about the history and was flexible in regards to how and where we wanted to go. Note that the hike can be a bit exhaustive as there are a few ups and downs. The car itself was comfortable and private, and during the ride there were a lot of great views (despite the heavy fog we experienced). They knew exactly where we could still make a few good shots. From all the tours i have been to, this has definitely been one of the standouts! Highly recommend the Iranian Chai + Baklawa and the Tali.
