The experience starts in the train station, and it's tailor-made for you and your guests.

The first stop is the historic center of Sintra, for an accurate historical explanation of the village, then we drive to Quinta da Regaleira.

After Regaleira its now time for lunch, right before we visit the western point of Europe, on our way back we cross the natural park heading to Pena Palace.

During the day you can see four palaces, one castle and the most western point of Europe, with several stops for the best views and pictures. We recommend the visit inside 2 monuments.

The experience is totally flexible according to your personal needs.

The historical center aims to explain the Nacional Palace of Sintra and the entire formation of Vila de Sintra, but we didn't miss the visit to Piriquita to taste the local sweets :)

If you are in Lisbon, you absolutely must do this tour! Tânia was incredible. She was extremely knowledgeable and fun to spend the day with. My husband and I had our 5 month old daughter with us and she helped personalize our tour beforehand so we had a plan of what monuments to see. The monuments are complicated. From parking to knowing how to get around them and what parts to prioritize, they are not easy. We never would’ve been able to see so much (3 monuments) in one day without her help. Because the tour was private, we were on our own time and everything was flexible. This made all the difference traveling with a baby. I could go on forever about everything we saw and how much we enjoyed our day in Sintra… and how effortless everything was. We already want to plan another trip to return so we can see the other monuments with Tânia. The tour was that good.

Lovely experience and suggested good restaurants etc. wonderful to have a guide who can take great photos. She was enthusiastic unlike some guides who seem bored because they frequent places so often.

Tania with Off Course Tours did an amazing job on our private tour! Our group was a high school students from the United States and she planned the tour specifically to keep the interest of the students. Make great recommendation for the sites to visit, a location for lunch and sequence for the tour. The kids and chaperones loved Tania and had an amazing time. We would highly recommend.

Tania provides a very unique and thorough tour of Sintra and Cascais. She is a very knowledgeable and fun guide. She knows the area very well and was very flexible to accommodate weather, traffic, etc. and knew exactly the best times to view each attraction. Overall, a terrific day!

Sintra is a magical village. Tania knows just how to capture every ounce of that magic as she guides you through the village and monuments, fully bringing each location to life. My wife and I came to Portugal for our honeymoon. The tour was amazing and our guide Tania made the tour for us. She was fun, informative, and professional. Her side kick Carlos was great addition to the tour. We enjoyed his sing! I highly recommend the excursion! Obrigado!!!

Tania was superb! Knowledgeable, warm, kind, and funny. She even understood the moody weather patterns of Sintra and juggled our sites to provide the best photo opportunities. We had a fabulous day and highly recommend this tour.
