• Misleading, palace not included!

  Very important—this tour does NOT include the Nasrid Palace, which is the whole point in coming to see Alhambra. Also, make sure you go to the right meeting location! (Hint, it’s not at the entrance to the Alhambra.)

  Although we booked 4 months in advance, Viator canceled our 3 hour guided tour (they hadn't sold enough) and replaced it with two other times we couldn't make or an audio tour which consisted of 13 1 minute sound bites. The office agent told us we were LUCKY??? to have any tour and my wife had to argue with them to get some sort of refund (got back $5 per person which was insulting) The audio tour was as close to useless as you can imagine... I don't care what Washington Irving would have felt while he walked through the gardens!!! Information about how, why or when would have been far more appropriate. You RUINED what should have be a spectacular day.

  Ana was very knowledgeable about the Alhambra. It was nice to have a guide who is deep rooted in Granada and passionate about the history. It was very easy to find the office, obtain our tickets, and meet with our guide. I highly recommend using them for this tour.

  I repeat…DO NOT BOOK with this company. Our tour was cancelled at the last minute due to “lack of participants”. In its place we were offered an audio guide tour with no change in price or refund. When we asked if we could be moved to the next day for a guided tour we were told we would have to pay for that tour again and it was a different price. There was no empathy or even an attempt to rectify the situation, to the point of rudeness. We felt stuck so we took the audio guide option which was horrible. We had to supply our own earbuds and some of us didn’t have any. It was too loud and too crowded to listen openly on our phones. The audio guide kept kicking out of our phones so we had to constantly reload it and start over and then what we could get was very poorly narrated, did not give a lot of information, and provided no direction on how to get to the next point of interest. From the guided tours we were able to listen to around us there was a vast difference in the information we received. We were very much looking forward to a live tour and got a pathetic replacement and horrible customer service instead. In retrospect, this tour did not include the Nasrid palaces. If we did it all again, we would book a tour that does include the palaces as they are the most interesting and beautiful sites of the Alhambra.

  The guide was an hour late, and we were informed about it 10 mins after our scheduled time. So we lost an hour with nothing to do in the cold. Also we have had better guides in the past. I would look elsewhere next time I was to book.

  The Alhambra tour is impressive, especially the palaces and gardens are beautiful. It's quite busy, but the guide knows how to tell interesting details that you wouldn't otherwise notice. It is a great way to learn more about the history and architecture of the complex.

  I live in the US. Our party of six travelled from the US to Marbella and then to Grenada in November 2025 in vain. Purchased tickets for a private tour at Alhambra on the Viator app in October 2025 but when we arrived at La Alhambra there were no private tours being given that day. Our stay was in Marbella but we reserved and paid for a private car to take us from Marbella to Grenada for $300 per couple. I contacted Viator through the app and received no callback, but an email saying they were processing a refund instead. We spent the night in Grenada and called for transportation back to return Marbella early the next morning. We incurred these expenses because the dates were not blocked out and communication with us from Viator was not sufficient and satisfactory. We will leave our travels in Spain without accomplishing our biggest plan. We were so disappointed about the time and money we spent and not experiencing the tour. We looked around but didn’t know what we were looking at. We left for our hotel very disappointed.
