Accademia is a very small museum and does not allow more than 600 people inside, for this reason the queue can vary from 3 to 5 hours in high season and it is not easy to find tickets .. !!

5.00This was excellent. Oxana was our guide and she was knowledgeable and engaging. The meeting point is a very short walk to the Academy’s entrance. David is simply mesmerising and Oxana’s detailed descriptions of the art and the story brought him to life in our minds. Our family includes our 19 and 21 yo sons and even they were impressed by David’s aura! Well worth skipping the hot and long line.

5.00What could have been a very routine museum visit was brought wonderfully to life by Claudio. Being able to hear the back story to much of the work enabled us to grasp the enormity of the Michael Angelo’s achievement. I would encourage others to pay that little bit extra and have a guided tour; it will be worth it, especially if Claudio is doing it.

5.00Beware …it was not clear when booking that the ticket did NOT include admission to the Galeria Accademia, this was another 20 euros each adult and 4 for those under 18

5.00We loved learning not only about David but the other Michelangelo works in Florence. The tour was short and sweet and exactly what we needed for our group. Our guide was knowledgeable and friendly.
