Michelangelo's David as you've never seen it before. We will go through the life of the great genius of all times. I will have the pleasure of telling you all the secrets that hide behind the genius of Michelangelo and the giant David.

Our path will be on the Pietro Perugino Rafaello's master, Filippino Lippi. Domenico Ghirlandaio the master of Michelangelo in painting. We will walk through the history of the Medici and try to understand why the Renaissance was born in Florence. Why is the Medici family so important to Michelangelo? We will analyze Lorenzo the Magnificent and his brother Giuliano. At the Galleria del Accademia there is not only the Giant David..

Please remember that tickets are not included in the price, I will buy tickets in advance for you and you will pay me when you arrive in Florence before starting the tour. A ticket costs 20 euros, under 18 years old the ticket costs 4 euros but they must have an identity document with them. I can only take cash. Grazie

Had a wonderful visit to the Academy. Our guide provided excellent background on Michaelangelo and his David as well as Renaissance art/history. She was thorough and engaging even with teenage children in our group. We really enjoyed this tour.

Definitely take a Beat the Line tour and get a as early as possible tour preferably in the morning to avoid the madding crowds otherwise you are only really just shuffling along. Big crowds lots of noise at times Ì just didn't realise just how noisy it could get. Shoulder Seasons best in the the Summer you're standing in a very long queue in the hot Sun if you don't book a tour it's worth the price.The Highlight of the tour is just seeing Michelangelos David hard to believe that someone created something so" Beautiful" That's worth the admission price by it's self.
