We really enjoyed and learned a lot from our small group tour with Rita. She was an excellent guide, very friendly, and had tons of knowledge that she enjoyed sharing with the group. Rita made the walk through of the basilica and palace much more meaningful and memorable than if we had done our own tickets. And given the business of St Mark’s Square during tourist season, frankly having a pro guide your through the chaos and point out the key locations and significant events makes the whole experience that il much more enjoyable.

The guide was very knowledgeable and friendly. She deserves highest ranks. This tour gets the job done as far as getting you inside and getting some explanation of what you are seeing. In someway such as for children it was a little too lengthy in descriptions. The tour itself it a bit long through Palazzo Ducale and then very brief in the Basilica. I would have preferred to be allowed more time in the Basilica to really take it in. On a very hot day (heat-wave in August) this tour was very warm and difficult inside the Palazzo. The skip the line was helpful to miss waiting in a line but then we did not get anytime to shop in the gift shop. It was stated to be 20 people it was 24.

We enjoyed this tour. Started in the Doge's Palace then did St. Mark's Basilica. A nice surprise--we got to walk over the Bridge of Sighs. Appreciate our group was small and we truly got to skip the lines.
