Ryan might just be the MVP of tour guides. We’ve had guides across Italy, Paris, and Eastern Europe and he was hands-down one of the most enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and genuinely helpful people we met. Highlights? Just him burning his own wallet to prove which bags were real leather. 😁 He checked in constantly to make sure everyone was comfortable and having fun even in the blazing Florence heat and made the history feel alive. Pro tip: Ask him where to find the best local snacks, chocolate, and coffee—he’s got all the insider food tips. We’re already planning to request him on our next trip back!

It was a terrific walking tour. Brian (guide) was great explaining all the stops and rich history of Florence. My teenagers enjoyed it too! I would recommend this tour to anyone visiting Florence.

Tour Guide: Brian Tour: Skip-the-Line Florence and David Walking Tour Our experience was truly exceptional, thanks to Brian, a guide whose erudition, charisma, and patience elevated the journey. Born in the Netherlands to an Italian mother and Dutch father, Brian has seamlessly woven his heritage into his life in Italy, enriching his storytelling with cultural depth. Leading our intimate group of just ten, he fostered a warm, engaging atmosphere. As rain began to fall just before we entered the museum, Brian’s thoughtful guidance kept us comfortable. Inside, the masterpieces—sculptures and paintings—left us in awe, with the rare privilege of beholding the earliest musical instruments, including a priceless Stradivarius, as a highlight.

Our guide was very knowledgeable and friendly with lots of good tips. It was an extremely hot day so she did her best to keep us in the shade while explaining the history and culture of Florence.
