A holiday in Rome without visiting the Vatican is like a day at the beach without swimming in the sea. See the best of the Vatican museums and gain direct entrance with skip-the-line access to the Sistine Chapel and St. Peter’s Basilica, while our excellent guides entertain you with stories that go with each masterpiece.
This budget-friendly tour is the best value for money for travelers that are interested in 1) seeing the museum’s highlights 2) meeting a new friend or two through your group and 3) skipping the lines (trust us, with over 6 million tourist spilling into the museum every year, you'll want it!)
Disclaimer: you will be entering the Vatican museum during one of the busiest times of the day. While the tour provides skip-the-line access, the crowds in the museum vary from day to day and some delay with security can be expected (it would be misleading for other tour operators to not tell you this!)

Unforeseen events= The Vatican is its own country and therefore the Pope can decide also last minute to close St. Peter’s Basilica for ad hoc events. It is a very rare event during the year but it is possibile and we will do our best to inform you. If it is too late to inform you, our guide will extend the tour in the Vatican. Not to worry that the incredibile collection of Vatican Museums and the masterpiece of Michelagelo in the Sistine Chapel will still be included.

There are a lot of stairs and some narrow passages...but overall was a great experience. Guides were knowledgeable.

We had 2 tour guides who were fun and very knowledgeable. The tour lasted a little longer than expected. Definitely worth it!

We had two tour guides, Guido for the Vatican Museum and I don't recall the second guide's name for St. Peter's. Both were great, very well-informed and explained the highlights. I was worried we wouldn't spend enough time in the museum but it was perfect and Guido took us through nearly all the main exhibits. Be forewarned, the museum is crazy crowded, I've never seen a museum that crowded and it's cramped in many locations. Our guide for the Basilica was a fount of information and we left with a real appreciation for the site. Highly recommend this tour!

Really enjoyed this tour a lot. Only complaint was that I wish we did not switch tour guides half way through. Our first guide Marco was awesome. Extremely knowledgeable and funny. Highly recommend taking a guided tour through the Vatican as it is overwhelmingly crowded and too much to see without some guidance from a professional.

Excellent tour with knowledgeable tour guides who just about navigate you around the madness of the crowds inside the Vatican. Sistime chapel very busy but the highlight of the tour in many ways . The gallery of maps and the interior of St Peters were also real highlights and worth the experience. You were well looked after from start to finish and you did genuinely beat the worst of the queues. The tour is in two parts , part 1-The Vatican museums & Sistine Chapel , Part 2-St Peters Basilica. The historical content of some of the tour guides comments could be argued with at times ,but they are there presenting a popular history of certain subjects. If you want more nuanced up to date coverage book a tour with an academic. The time spent viewing the tombs of popes seemed wasted really , unless you were particularly interested in that. The full effect of Michelangelos Pieta is sadly lost behind glass screens and crowds, but good to see and not the guides fault. The coverage of Catholic controversy like badly behaved Popes(humans too focused on temporal power) , Papal infallibility(a land dispute gloriously ended by Mussolini) , Hitlers Pope-Pius XII(A cold war hero according to our guide) ,the death of pope John Paul 1 (unlucky not remotely suspicious) , and the source of the wealth(faithful catholics and pilgrims /not the selling of indulgences & simony) that creates such opulence was pretty poor and one eyed from the guides. But what can you expect on a Vatican tour?
