Disclaimer: you will be entering the Vatican museum during one of the busiest times of the day. While the tour provides skip-the-line access, the crowds in the museum vary from day to day and some delay with security can be expected (it would be misleading for other tour operators to not tell you this!)

Unforeseen events= The Vatican is its own country and therefore the Pope can decide also last minute to close St. Peter’s Basilica for ad hoc events. It is a very rare event during the year but it is possibile and we will do our best to inform you. If it is too late to inform you, our guide will extend the tour in the Vatican. Not to worry that the incredibile collection of Vatican Museums and the masterpiece of Michelagelo in the Sistine Chapel will still be included.
Most of our tours include the Vatican Museums, Sistine Chapel, and St. Peter’s Basilica. However, there are two specific options with different inclusions. You will find below:
Museums & SISTINE CHAPEL Tour – Includes the Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel but does NOT include St. Peter’s Basilica.
ST.PETER'S BASILICA TOUR – Includes St. Peter’s Basilica but does NOT include the Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel.

What To Expect
Borgo
Meet your tour guide at our office, located in the oldest neighbourhoods of the Vatican, Borgo Pio. Following a self introduction by your guide, you will walk through the charming shops of the Borgo, as he/she shares some local tips for eating and site seeing in Rome, including off the beaten track sites that you must visit during your holiday! Some background will also be provided on the history of the Sistine Chapel (we do it here as the chapel forbids noise and travellers are expected to observe silence once entering).
Via Della Conciliazione
Admire the flags and surrounding embassies as you walk through this street, which serve as the primary access point to St. Peter's Square, and by extension, to the Vatican City itself.

5.00Our tour guide "Carl" was a fantastic guide we did the Vatican museum tour on 4th November he's knowledge was amazing and so in depth with detail, we were so pleased that we decided to go on a guided tour rather than do it ourselves and skipping the ques would be the best decision you'll make. we would highly recommend using this company, our group wasn't huge with probably 20 people in it which was just enough . Headset commentary though out tour.

5.00My friend and booked this at the last minute but we were able to get into both St. Peter's Basilica and the Sistine Chapel as well as the Vatican Museum. Our guide, Carl, for the Sistine Chapel and the Museum was SUPERB. He actually works for the museum and was the most knowledgeable guide I've ever had. Ask for him if you can! He was excellent.

5.00Well, what can I say? We have just arrived back home, in The UK 🇬🇧, after a well deserved long weekend break, in Rome. What an amazing trip? Although we have been to ‘The Eternal City’ once before, it was as if this was our first visit. Our tour of The Vatican, Sistine Chapel, St Peter’s Basilica and Vatican Museum, with yourselves, was nothing short of ‘spectacular’. In The UK we would say it was ‘The Icing on The Cake!’ 😊 Actually, It was the one thing we wished we had done, on our last visit. So, imagine our delight, to be chaperoned by, Carl. Surely the best tour guide, in Rome? We cannot thank Carl enough, for his: passion, attention to detail, knowledge, enthusiasm, care for the group, safeguarding skills and his Germanic nature, resulting in strict but gentle discipline, clear instructions, abstract humour and a feeling of safety, even in the middle of the multitude of tourists. He actually made US feel like everyone else, in these venues, were tourists, and we were VIP’s, on a totally different level. Almost like diplomats. 🤭 Don’t ask me how he did it, but he did and he was excellent at it. He deserves a medal. 🥇 😊 So, we can’t thank you enough. Next time in Rome, we’ll do the tour with you guys, again. But only if we can be chaperoned by Carl or someone on his level of excellence or better?
