Disclaimer: you will be entering the Vatican museum during one of the busiest times of the day. While the tour provides skip-the-line access, the crowds in the museum vary from day to day and some delay with security can be expected (it would be misleading for other tour operators to not tell you this!)

Unforeseen events= The Vatican is its own country and therefore the Pope can decide also last minute to close St. Peter’s Basilica for ad hoc events. It is a very rare event during the year but it is possibile and we will do our best to inform you. If it is too late to inform you, our guide will extend the tour in the Vatican. Not to worry that the incredibile collection of Vatican Museums and the masterpiece of Michelagelo in the Sistine Chapel will still be included.
Most of our tours include the Vatican Museums, Sistine Chapel, and St. Peter’s Basilica. However, there are two specific options with different inclusions. You will find below:
Museums & SISTINE CHAPEL Tour – Includes the Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel but does NOT include St. Peter’s Basilica.
ST.PETER'S BASILICA TOUR – Includes St. Peter’s Basilica but does NOT include the Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel.

What To Expect
Borgo
Meet your tour guide at our office, located in the oldest neighbourhoods of the Vatican, Borgo Pio. Following a self introduction by your guide, you will walk through the charming shops of the Borgo, as he/she shares some local tips for eating and site seeing in Rome, including off the beaten track sites that you must visit during your holiday! Some background will also be provided on the history of the Sistine Chapel (we do it here as the chapel forbids noise and travellers are expected to observe silence once entering).
Via Della Conciliazione
Admire the flags and surrounding embassies as you walk through this street, which serve as the primary access point to St. Peter's Square, and by extension, to the Vatican City itself.

5.00We had a great tour for our whole family including our small kids and grandparents. Giovanni was a fantastic tour guide who kept it interesting and was engaging throughout the entire tour. The pace was good and not too fast for our small kids and the grandparents. We have visited The Vatican before but learnt and saw new things on this tour. The Skip the lines was a must!

5.00I don’t think our Vatican tour could have gone any better if we didn’t have our tour guide Giovanni. To say he was exceptional is an understatement. He was very knowledgeable and passionate. He explained each process and what we were going to do and see at every step of the tour. The headsets are super helpful especially because our tour group was a bit large and had about 20 people, but was also on a rainy day. Giovanni adjusted our tour from his normal to fit our needs. The meeting point was super easy to find, everyone from the meeting point greeter to our tour guide spoke several languages, and the walk to the Vatican from the meeting point was not long at all. I would highly recommend booking this tour as you will get the most for your money and get exceptional service.
This tour was the best that we experienced throughout italy , greece and turkey.

5.00I cannot emphasized that skip the lines is the only way to go inside Vatican especially on important holiday week it saves you time. A little pricey but very worth it. The process of finding the ticket and your guide is easy and our guide Salvador is so knowledgeable about Italian history and easygoing to be with makes history learning fun. Is was supposedly a 3 hour tour from 3 pm to 6 pm but got to be extended to 7 pm because of the long lines. We did not mind it however since it was really good. Overall I would say that going with this tour group and skipping the line is a must. We were able to go to Basilica of St Peter inspite of the hectic schedule and to the Holy Door. Thank you Salvador.
