Petronas Twin Towers
The twin 88-story steel and glass buildings known as the Petronas Twin Towers (or Petronas Towers), completed in 1996, are icons of Malaysia. Designed to symbolize courage and the country’s advancement, the towers connect by a double-decker Skybridge between the 41st and 42nd floor—the world’s tallest two-story bridge of its kind—forming the shape of an “M” for Malaysia.

There is no “ Skip the line” thing there No such thing exists their management says It wasn’t a very long wait anyway, but that’s not the point. The point is what’s being advertised on Viator is “false and misleading” Go to the admin staff that scans the QR code and ask them that I have a skip the line booking, they would say there’s no such thing, there’s only one line and everyone has to come through that

The experience was thrilling. The fee was excellent value. My friends and I enjoyed the views from the middle bridge section called Skybridge Access and from the top. We have amazing photos. We stayed on in the coffee shop and in the souvenir shop at the conclusion of the guided tour which was at the top of the Towers. The price of the souvenirs was, in my view, inexpensive and the coffee shop offered a range of drinks and food which was delicious. The group was contained to a small group and the staff were all excellent. The staff at the ticket office were really helpful, the staff from the security to taking us up to the different levels were professional and friendly. It was a great day and would recommend anyone of any age to experience the Twin Towers. Easy to access by taxi, metro or walking. We disembarked from the Hop On, Hop Off bus and after the tour enjoyed the external surrounds with other tourists.

I expected something better... the windows were dirty and the view was not very clear.

The process was seamless, the staff helpful and courteous and the experience was spot on. Even with the channelling of visitors via the traditional photo shoot there was no insistence to buy the photos. All in all a good experience and the construction of the two towers was awesome to read & hear about.

After visiting other tall buildings, in various cities, we were really looking forward to the Petronas towers. We followed advice to visit at night, for fantastic city lights. The thing is, when it comes to taking pictures, the lights on the towers are so bright, they cause glare on the glass, ruining pictures. So my advice is go in the daytime to take pictures. Had to chase our tickets from Viator. Every time I opened get tickets either in app, or email, I just had confirmation page, no scan code. But with the help of the young lady at the customer service desk, we were allowed to go on a later slot, once tickets arrived. Towers ticked off, but it a patch on other sites

This ticket was issued from Viatour for the WRONG date and they refused to help me change it by over 2 months despite contacting them within minutes of getting their voucher with the WRONG dates. My computer still had the correct date on the screen, so VIATOUR did this!!!!

Horrible service - both Tripadvisor and tour operator confirmed and accepted my payment. Your operator then cancelled and attempted to move my booking to an earlier time which was neither acceptable nor possible for me. Was told I had to deal with Tripadvisor to try and get a refund (which has proven impossible as well). NEVER book and certainly NEVER prepay anything through Tripadvisor and avoid this specific tour operator at all costs.

Interesting experience. It seemed a bit ad hoc at check in. I got the impression it didn’t matter what your tour time was , along as the date was correct on your ticket Skybridge linking the towers was great. We were given 15 minutes to take in the view and take pictures . Our group ( we had black stickers on our arms ) were then taken to the top on level 86 . Again great views of the city and plenty of wonderful photo ops as well as a pictorial history of the site . Then the disappointment . I’m After 15 minutes our group was taken to level 83 . This was the coffee / souvenir shop . Instead of looking at the gifts , the smart ones went straight to the lift queue . Various groups had merged so our wait time was at least 50 minutes before . It just seemed a bit disorganised . Overall it was worth the time to see such a great city and such wonderful views

The Petronas Twin Towers were definitely worth visiting - iconic building, amazing views, staggering statistics - a ‘must do’ for any visitor to KL. However, the title ‘Skip the Line’ is a misnomer as there was only one line and we had to join it. Everything ran smoothly and groups had to stick to a rigid time allocation - ten minutes on the sky bridge, fifteen minutes at the viewing deck. Unfortunately some of the staff were overly officious or just downright rude which detracted from the enjoyment of the experience. I would recommend visiting the Petronas Twin Towers but don’t expect to be welcomed like a valued guest.
