Departing early in the morning we'll avoid the traffic and crowds ensuring a priority arrival at a destination and a unique experience!

With a shared group, you will enjoy a guided tour of Pompeii of 2 hours 30 min and then be taken up to 1000m of Mount Vesuvius, take the last 200m by foot up to the top, here you can stare down into the mouth of the volcano and then take in the breathtaking 360 degree panorama of the surrounding areas.

We had an absolutely amazing experience on our guided tour to Pompeii and Mount Vesuvius today! From start to finish, everything was seamless and well organised. The meeting point was easy to find and we were provided with earpieces that made it easy to hear our guide throughout the day. Speaking of guides.... MiMi was phenomenal! Such a warm, funny, and engaging person who truly brought the history to life. His energy and knowledge made the experience unforgettable. We also want to give a big shoutout to Vinnie, our coach driver, who navigated those narrow and winding roads like a pro. We always felt safe and comfortable. Pompeii was breathtaking. Once we arrived, we were introduced to our second guide (possibly named John Luca... apologies if we got that wrong!) who was equally fantastic, very informative and attentive to the group's safety. Thanks to him we saw all the key highlights of the site and learned so much we never would have picked up on our own. We were originally considering doing this trip independently to save money and we are so glad we didn’t... The insights and depth provided by our guides were truly invaluable. After about two hours in Pompeii, we had a one hour break and were offered a 3-course meal for €18pp. Starter included fried pizza, crisps, and croquettes. A good range of mains like pizza, rigatoni, and salads. Followed by tiramisu and a soft drink. Great value and very tasty. Then it was time for Mount Vesuvius... wow. The coach takes you up to a high elevation, but there’s still about a 1.5-hour hike to the top. The terrain is steep and varied (volcanic and loose scree) so come prepared with good shoes and layers, as the weather can change quickly. Once at the top, you’re free to explore for around 2.5 hours and the views are worth the hard hike up. We arrived back in Sorrento around 5pm! tired but so happy. It was a brilliant day out. It may seem a bit pricey, but everything is handled for you, and the experience is 100% worth it. Can’t recommend this tour enough. If you’re lucky enough to get MiMi as your guide- you're in for a real treat!

Wear good footwear. Vesuvius would be challenging for some people, especially if very warm. Guides very knowledgable. Very well worth a visit.

Sensible walking shoes and carry water Would be our advice and keep an eye on the guide in pompey as there's lot's people and vesuvius is 1.9 kms and steep but very doable if taken slowly . we're in our sixties and we did it in an hour and a half

Going early to Pompei was a good idea, since it gets so busy. Tour guide was very informative and spoke English well. Mt. Vesious wasn't described well in website description. It was very cold and windy and stated an easy walk . It was 1.5 kilometers all uphill with higher altitude. I'm in good shape and got very tired. We didn't go have warm enough clothes and froze!
