With a shared group, you will enjoy a guided tour of Pompeii of 2 hours 30 min and then be taken up to 1000m of Mount Vesuvius, take the last 200m by foot up to the top, here you can stare down into the mouth of the volcano and then take in the breathtaking 360 degree panorama of the surrounding areas.

Great tour! Our daily tour guide Mimi was awesome, very knowledgeable and personable. Our Pompeii tour guide Vinni was amazing as well - lots of great history. Timing of everything was great. Bus ride was nice: not too long, beautiful views. Vesuvius was a short hike (20 minutes) and great views of the city.

Overall, we really enjoyed our tour from Sorrento to Pompei. Our tour guide explained life in Pompei and gave us a real sense of what Pompei was like. He was very knowledgeable and ready to answer any questions. We weren’t able to see Mount Vesuvius as planned because of road work but we were refunded for that portion of the tour. Great company.

This is a very good tour that combines a couple of hours in Pompeii with a couple of hours exploring the rim of Vesuvius. I would recommend this if you have only one day to spend in the area. But if you have more than one day, take a tour of Pompeii only that lasts four hours or more. And then take a separate tour of Vesuvius.

Mimi was fantastic! He was funny, knowledgeable and accommodation where he could. The tour guide for Pompeii gave a unique insight into Pompeii and the way people would have been living there before the eruption.
