Spend a full day in the Vesuvian area visiting the archaeological site of Pompeii and Mt. Vesuvius.
Departing early in the morning we'll avoid the traffic and crowds ensuring a priority arrival at a destination and a unique experience!
With a shared group, you will enjoy a guided tour of Pompeii of 2 hours 30 min and then be taken up to 1000m of Mount Vesuvius, take the last 200m by foot up to the top, here you can stare down into the mouth of the volcano and then take in the breathtaking 360 degree panorama of the surrounding areas.

Skip-the-line cannot be accommodated on the 1st Sunday of the month as in Pompeii no skip-the-line tickets can be purchased.

4.00Great day. Wear comfortable ‘no skid’ shoes. If threat of rain be very prepared as you are exposed to the weather. Tour of Pompeii was exceptional. Our guides Mello and Vincenzo were awesome. Bus was very comfortable and driven very well. Lunch was just okay (We had the fixed menu option). Bring water and snacks. Be careful with bag size as too large of bag will not be allowed in Pompeii.

5.00Great day, very well organized. It was a real plus to have it in French (and not always in English as usual). Dani managed the day masterfully while speaking both languages. We did not have to take care of anything. The guide in Pompeii was great; it was a real plus to have the guided tour of the city since it is so large. The lunch proposal was very good for the price ($20). The afternoon on Vesuvius is very pleasant where we have about 1.5 hours of free time (more than enough if you are somewhat used to walking with elevation).

2.00The positives: the bus was nice, our driver did a good job, the bus guide Nello, and Pompeii specialist Isabella, were nice. The negatives: Nello and Isabella were not knowledgeable enough to lead a guided tour of this historic site. It is possible they know more than they told us, but they lacked the mastery of the English language necessary to share the information. For example, Isabella did not know the English word for a chase lounge so she used the Italian word and then explained it using many English words. She also poorly explained the large Basilica in Pompeii. She kept saying the “decoration” on the walls indicated it was an important structure, but decoration was not the right word for her intent. This made the tour confusing. We spoke to other people who went in other tours and they gained much more detail. I think that Nello and Isabella need to read the guidebooks in English and then practice delivering the presentation in English.

5.00Our main tour guide, Max, was wonderful! He knew a lot about the area and gave us very clear instructions of meeting places and our itinerary. Luigi, our bus driver, was AMAZING! He navigated the narrow and windy streets with professionalism!! Roberta was a great guide at Pompeii - she had great background knowledge and a fun sense of humor. We really appreciated that we could hike Mt Vesuvius on our own- and at our own pace. There were places to sit if you didn’t want to hike to the top! I highly recommend this tour and the tour company!!

5.00We had a great experience. Max was our guide. He did a great job ensuring everyone on the tour knew what to expect for our hike and information while driving from site to site. We had Isabella as a tour guide for Pompeii very informative only get to see 3-4 sections of Pompeii which was enough for my husband and I (if you want to see more of Pompeii book a longer tour versus this one which includes hiking up Vesuvius) Great experience highly recommended.
