Spend a full day in the Vesuvian area visiting the archaeological site of Pompeii and Mt. Vesuvius.

Departing early in the morning we'll avoid the traffic and crowds ensuring a priority arrival at a destination and a unique experience!

With a shared group, you will enjoy a guided tour of Pompeii of 2 hours 30 min and then be taken up to 1000m of Mount Vesuvius, take the last 200m by foot up to the top, here you can stare down into the mouth of the volcano and then take in the breathtaking 360 degree panorama of the surrounding areas.

In case the Vesuvius will be closed, we will offer as alternative the skip the line ticket to visit the archaeological site of Herculaneum

Group tour not suitable for cruise passengers

Skip the line option cannot be accommodated on the 1st Sunday of the month as in Pompeii no skip-the-line tickets can be purchased.

Pompeii is a vast archaeological site in southern Italy’s Campania region, near the coast of the Bay of Naples. Once a thriving and sophisticated Roman city, Pompeii was buried under meters of ash and pumice after the catastrophic eruption of Mount Vesuvius in 79 A.D. The preserved site features excavated ruins of streets and houses that visitors can freely explore.

Great trip with our guide around Pompeii Our guide Louisa was really good and knew so much - we covered a lot in the 2 hours. Vesuvius was fantastic too.

Perfect day, guided tour round Pompeii lasted about 3 hours which was ideal, great information from our guide about the site. Then up mount vesuvius , bus took us up most of the way , then a 30 minute walk up to the summit, really worthwhile experience and a massive tick off the bucket list. Guide and bus driver were both excellent and I would highly recommend the tour.

Great tour, the guide was able to answer all the questions we had. Don't expect to see everything because there's too much to see in just a few hours. But the tour takes you through the major parts and gives you an insight into what life was like back then.
