Spend a full day in the Vesuvian area visiting the archaeological site of Pompeii and Mt. Vesuvius.

Departing early in the morning we'll avoid the traffic and crowds ensuring a priority arrival at a destination and a unique experience!

With a shared group, you will enjoy a guided tour of Pompeii of 2 hours 30 min and then be taken up to 1000m of Mount Vesuvius, take the last 200m by foot up to the top, here you can stare down into the mouth of the volcano and then take in the breathtaking 360 degree panorama of the surrounding areas.

Group tour not suitable for cruise passengers

Skip the line option cannot be accommodated on the 1st Sunday of the month as in Pompeii no skip-the-line tickets can be purchased.

Pompeii is a vast archaeological site in southern Italy’s Campania region, near the coast of the Bay of Naples. Once a thriving and sophisticated Roman city, Pompeii was buried under meters of ash and pumice after the catastrophic eruption of Mount Vesuvius in 79 A.D. The preserved site features excavated ruins of streets and houses that visitors can freely explore.

You need to do this, it’s fantastic, highlight of our whistle stop tour of the Sorrento Peninsula. Nello was a top quality guide, as was Patricia at Pompeii ! We went with 2 teenage boys and they were blown away as much as mum and dad !

This was a great trip for a family with teenagers. Just long enough at Pompeii to see the main sights (& our tour there was great) especially on a hot day! Vesuvius was worth the climb and our driver expertly manoeuvred the windy road up! Danni was a great tour guide throughout the day and clearly explained our meeting points and activities.

Both Pompeii and Vesuvius are a must. Pompeii is incredible and Vesuvius awesome. Take your walking shoes!

Great day out Dani our guide was very informative about the local area as we travelled to Pompeii. The guide around the Pompeii was excellent and had a great passion for the history and the tales for the town. Lunch very worthwhile. Quick trip to Vesuvius with the driver earning his keep on the winding road with fantastic views to the coach stop. Walk up was quite steep but worth the effort as it’s a spectacular view over the bay of Naples and the surrounding countryside. The glass of red wine at the top is recommended.
