Spend a full day in the Vesuvian area visiting the archaeological site of Pompeii and Mt. Vesuvius.

Departing early in the morning we'll avoid the traffic and crowds ensuring a priority arrival at a destination and a unique experience!

With a shared group, you will enjoy a guided tour of Pompeii of 2 hours 30 min and then be taken up to 1000m of Mount Vesuvius, take the last 200m by foot up to the top, here you can stare down into the mouth of the volcano and then take in the breathtaking 360 degree panorama of the surrounding areas.

Group tour not suitable for cruise passengers

Skip the line option cannot be accommodated on the 1st Sunday of the month as in Pompeii no skip-the-line tickets can be purchased.

Once a thriving and sophisticated Roman city, Pompeii was buried under meters of ash and pumice after the catastrophic eruption of Mount Vesuvius in 79 A.D. The preserved site features excavated ruins of streets and houses that visitors can freely explore.

Great tour with amazing tour guide Mimi and driver Gigi....well organised and interesting tour around Pompeii with key points shown by Mimi.....then coach to Mount Vesuvius where we chose to climb to the top...hard work but worth the amazing views...thanks again to Mimi for an enjoyable day

Overall it was a good tour. I am a senior so I felt Mt Vesuvius climbing was a bit too much for me, I did not go beyond the first part. Felt it was a bit slippery.
