4.00My husband and I were happy we elected to do the evening tour because it was much less crowded compared to the day time tours. Just wear comfortable shoes and come hydrated. It’s a lengthy tour with a lot of art history. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and thorough. We enjoyed the tour, it probably could have been a little shorter, but that’s only because my husband and I aren’t huge art history enthusiasts and we were jet lagged from an overnight flight 🤪 The Sistine chapel is breathtaking and a must see. Definitely get the skip the line option! The lines were a mile long for those who waited to buy their tickets the same day.

5.00Very easy with app map instructions. Make sure you have data and your phone is charged. Skip the line was worth it. There were 2-3 hour ques. We waited maybe 10-15 minutes.

5.00We ended up doing this experience because the Vatican Museum and Sistine Chapel tickets through the Vatican had already sold out. As such, we didn’t mind paying a bit extra for the ticket since it guaranteed entry. Our tour guide, Claudia, was very knowledgeable and passionate about teaching us about the various aspects of the Vatican. She made it very easy for us to go through all the main attractions in 2 hours. I would definitely recommend this tour.

1.00We were so disappointed in this tour. The description led us to believe that we would have a “tour” of the Chapel and the Museums. That was not the case! Once we arrived we were told that our tickets were just to get us in the museum but then we would have to wait in multiple entries to get in and that we would not see the Chapel because the lines were too long. In order for us to see the Chapel we “needed” to take a guided tour for another 100 euro. That would get us a skip the line guided tour of the museums, the chapel and the basilica. While the guide was good and knowledgeable he literally dropped us off in the foyer before the basilica entrance. There were no lines once we were inside, despite what we were led to believe. We could have done it ourselves once inside. The whispers from the museum were awful. They wouldn’t stay on or in. I would not recommend this company - but VIATOR is great - they should get rid of this company.
