Call the service and ask specific questions, somewhat misrepresented the Vatican and Basilca entrance. You dont skip the line unless you have a guide . The good news is you get in at the same pace without it.

Guide was fine, enthusiastic, and informative about pointing out interests. Unfortunately, not the tour groups fault, the Vatican was (dangerously) packed like sardines and we were forced to move forward. Extremely hot, lots of stairs and walking which we expected. However, several guests were not prepared for the workout and held group back at times. Would have preferred a skip the line on our own timeframe.

Our guide was hard to understand. He had us standing in the hot sun explaning things until my friend got sick. He then told her if she needed to leave she could go to St Peter's and wait. She would have had to walk a long way with no ticket to enter. When I said he needed to get her help he said he couldn't. Another person on our tour gave her water and a snack and she felt better so stayed with us. It was really crowded, worst I've seen in 3 trips. The guide kept leaving people behind so another man in the group said he would stay in the back and not to move on till he saw him to know we were all there. From past Vatican tours, I knew he was skipping a lot maybe because of the crowds but he didn't speak well on the things he did talk about. I got pushed away from the group by another tour in the Raphael rooms. I couldn't see anyone so stayed put thinking he would come back when he saw I was missing or my friend told him but he didn't. After I couldn't hear him anymore I realized no one was coming. Since I had been there several times, I knew tours went various ways but ended up in the Sistine Chapel so I went there and sat by the exit where the partition was. I never caught up with them. I found them when they came to the Sistine Chapel at that partition. My friend said he never even tried to find me even though she told him immediately that I was still in the other room. That it was horribly crowded was not his fault, but if people in the back moved up to get a picture of what he had talked about he took off and suddenly you were left behind. If it wasn't for that man in the group stopping him others would also have been left behind. One lady was really slow walking and ee had to stop him multiple times for her and her husband. This was an awful experience with that guide. I saw multiple other tour groups while getting to the Sistine Chapel and none were liks him.

Our guide was energetic and insightful, making the art and history of the Vatican captivating. Skipping the long lines meant more time to marvel at the Sistine Chapel and St. Peter's—truly memorable!

Too long too slow. Standing on the outside patio while guide showed us photos of sistine ceiling was very frustrating. Guide was very nice but the tour overall was not enjoyable
