Leap into the colorful, strange, and rapidly changing world of frogs at the Aquarium of the Pacific. Discover vibrant habitats featuring colorful tropical frogs from around the world; peek behind-the-scenes to watch staff care for frogs from eggs to adults; see a new exhibit space highlighting California and Baja frogs, their amphibian relatives, and reptile neighbors; and even paint your own virtual frog. Your reservation time is the earliest you can enter. Tickets are valid to scan any time after your set reservation time begins on that day.

What To Expect
Aquarium Of The Pacific
TO CHANGE YOUR DATE OR TIME OF VISIT, you can make a new reservation at https://pacific.to/reservations. This ticket will scan at your new time and/or date. Tickets are valid for a year from purchase date. When you arrive at the Aquarium of the Pacific in Long Beach, about 25 miles (40 km) south of Los Angeles, go straight to the gate with your general admission ticket. Pick up your guide book, and start exploring! Your general admission gives you access to all of the aquarium’s galleries and exhibits, which focus on the creatures and environment of the Pacific Ocean. Discover sunny Southern California and Baja, the frigid waters of the Northern Pacific, and the colorful reefs of the Tropical Pacific. Come face-to-face with the ocean’s ultimate predators in Shark Lagoon, hand-feed colorful lorikeet birds, and watch our Magellanic Penguins play. Please note animal feeding and other optional activities are an additional cost.

5.00Takes at most 3 hrs if visiting without kids. Take picture of show times. Get booklet with map and lots of fun facts.

5.00This was such a great time / experience. I came with my 8 year old and teenager. Both boys had a good time. We came late morning (11am) on a Friday. There were some school groups there but it was not crowded. We never had to wait in line or felt crowded. The staff is all very friendly and knowledgeable. On the interactive areas, my little one was timid and a little scared at first. The staff would pick up on it. They engaged him and made him feel comfortable. We will definitely be coming back.

5.00Wonderful aquarium that appeals to kids and adults. Closely monitored and expertly docented touch tanks, 4D theater that offers a really cool live bird show. Don't miss the lorakeet enclosure.

5.00A beautiful aquarium with lots of information and animals around life on and in the Pacific. It took us about 2 hours to look at everything in peace. We really liked the short film that was shown. The staff were all friendly and answered all our questions. We would not have to wait in line and could have our online tickets scanned directly. It was a great trip.

3.00This small aquarium is pretty nice. A very nice selection of exhibits and friendly and helpful staff. My dissatisfaction would only be with the price. I personally believe it is about $10 higher than what it should be for the size when considering prices of other aquariums we have visited and that we were told there was an evening Christmas theme through the 21st. We visited on the 21st having prepaid and we're told they didn't know anything about a Christmas theme we were told about on the phone weeks earluer.

5.00This aquarium is one of the larger ones. Of course, it’s focused on SoCal marine life but they cover other habitats as well. They had an exhibit on estuaries, frogs, and Marine mammals, among others. My 16 year grandchild who wants to be a marine biologist loved it.

4.00Tickets are $45 per person , so if you’re visiting with your family between tickets and food it can get expensive. However , you can spend 4-5 hours at the Aquarium of the Pacific and find interesting things to do and see, if you include the shows and the exhibits. Feeding the Lorikeets, although not really marine-related, was so much fun. You will be next door to the Shoreline Village and other points of interest
