This tour was a great way to spend the day! The views are stunning!! Very easy to navigate the stops. Of you would like to spend more time shopping, be aware that stopping along the way does cut into time in Kuranda. The town was full of great shops!! We visited the bird and butterfly sanctuary…which were both really neat. So much to do, I wish we had more time to spend in town. The train ride was a nice was to relax after walking all day.

Fantastic cable car ride, felt very safe, make sure to get off at the 2 stops it's worth it. I'm not that great with heights but felt very very safe to me.

It rained the entire day. The train portion of the ticket was cancelled due to the weather but the sky rail & boardwalks were nice. They provided umbrellas. Audio descriptions of the rainforest was available on our phone by scanning a QR code. The sky rail bus driver that picked us up at the hotel provided very informative and interesting narrative on the trip to and from.

It was a fantastic way to spend a hot summer day! Recommend train in the morning since it is not air conditioned- would be much hotter in the afternoon! The sky rail gondola had a lovely breeze keeping us cool on the way down! The views are spectacular from both train and gondola and the village of Kuranda is nice with some local artists galleries for original trinkets. Highly recommend- left the Esplanade area around 9am and returned by 4p- plenty of time to still enjoy the Cairns downtown in the evening!

Skyrail experience was amazing but we were disappointed with the bus tour service. The bus driver forced us to wake up our infant and hold her in our hands when she finally took a nap after a long, hot and humid day. We were forced to not use the car seat in the bus. Although there were front seats available (occupued by regular people) which were supposed to be wheelchair or families with infants accessible, but even after requesting the bus driver multiple times, we were asked to sit in the back seats and were told “too bad that the car seat won’t fit in the back seat and am sorry that the front seats are already taken”. I would not recommend DOWN UNDER TOURS to anyone traveling with infants. The buses do not allow infant car seats which may put baby’s life at risk in the event there is an accident.
