A great journey to discover Comino island - 60 minutes of free time, used to walk to the Blue Lagoon both ways due to bad weather preventing the boat to go there- and Gozo Island - 75 minutes of free time in the capital + 1 bus stop to take pictures of the landscape- as well as some nice caves at the end of the journey when coming back from Comino. There’s the option to stay at Comino instead of visiting Gozo (b) or stay at Gozo port instead of bus trip (c). I think it’s better to take the full trip, unless you want to swim in the blue lagoon or you are too tired to take a walk. Explanations of the guide in several languages mainly in the boat through the coast of Malta to explain the main points of the island.

The cruise is great value but dont be put off we went in December 2025, you go direct to Gozo with commentary on the coast line as you leave from Sliema. On arrival on Gozo a minibus takes you to Victoria where you are free to do what you want for a couple of hours, back to the boat and stop off at the blue lagoon for 60 minutes for a swim or you can walk around Comino. The day cruise is for €40 which is simply great value, try it and enjoy

This new Balkan restaurant has just opened (Dec 2025) at Balutta Bay, St Julians. It serves classic Balkn style meals, with the majority of meals concentrating on meat dishes, superbly cooked, and having both quality and quantity. If in doubt, speak to the very helpful and friendly staff. The wine list contains superb wines, most of which were new to me. The sommelier is also a Master of Wine, who is more than happy to share his expertise. The wine is also very reasonably priced. I have no doubt that this restaurant will be a resounding sucess.

Over crowded boat, took ages to board and devised. That ate up the time at the destinations. The buses at Gozo were not organised and its not sightseeing or commentary, just a long wait until you get on a bus which takes you to bus terminal and then you have just over an hour to do what you want. There must be better ways to visit the island and all the sights. Not recommended.

A nice tour with time on your own but also well organised. Was during the winter months and weather wasn't so great. But it was still enjoyable and boat crew are very friendly and welcoming

The experience is a full-day experience. For those who love being on the water, it is very beautiful, allows you to see Malta from the coast and allows you to visit the island of Gozo and the Blue Lagoon. It's certainly also a bit tiring and challenging, but very interesting. The only downside is that the presence in Gozo does not last as long, so you need to hurry up and down and see the citadel or things that may be more interesting to see in Gozo. You can do it, but it's a little tiring and maybe it puts a little stress on having to get back to the boat in time. Note that the boat is windy and can be cold, so open up in layers and bring a suitable foothold to face the heat when you are out and a little coolness and wind when you are on the boat.

This cruise was perfect for us. Seeing Malta from the water provided a welcome new perspective. The crew was helpful and funny. They provide ground transport on Gozo and food and drinks are available for purchase on board. The blue lagoon was fabulous, and a great opportunity for a swim. So the value for money was excellent!
