It was a lovely outing on a beautiful day to some great places on a very nice and fast boat. The Blue Lagoon was gorgeous.

We did this excursion in March and it was very crowded, so a heads-up for anyone visiting in high season. It’s clearly a tourist factory: the itinerary is tightly scheduled and impersonal, and the “commented” visits are not guided, you can’t rely on explanations. You have to do your own research. The trip mainly serves as transport to Gozo and Comino. Despite our disappointment, the price is reasonable for a full day of travel. Worth trying.

The time allocated for each segment is sufficient. I wish the explanation on the Viator website mentioned the process better. Please note not to forget carrying your smart phone. At Ferries 4 in Sliema, where you board the boat there is an additional step prior to boarding. The check in staff provides a QR code that you have to scan and follow the steps on your phone which upon completion provides the additional code needed which the agent needs to scan to allow you to board. This additional step gives you the approval to visit the Blue Lagoon. The ticket that the tour operator sends via your Viator confirmation is only for the boat trip. It is confusing so please reserve additional time. For the 10 am start, I suggest arriving at 9.15 am. The on boarding process is a bit chaotic and lines can get long. Also I wish the trip to Gozo included a drive around the island instead of just a drop off at a meeting point. Also a historic overview at the start of the boat trip would be interesting for those visiting the island. The rating reflects the chaos at boarding in Sliema and transport arrangements at Gozo. The experience itself is fine.

Certainly the most beautiful day of my stay in Malta. Ramos with the Austrian straw hat made the trip tasty for me, explained the route, checked the weather and sea and advised me top. Gozo was quite crowded, yet cool! However, the excursion bus I was on had seen better days. You could certainly improve that. Crammed with people, everything you touched was dirty sticky. But mei... Blue Lagoon and drive to the caves was uniquely beautiful. Very impressive. And if you want to avoid the crowds, you just march left around this hill. A very memorable day.

This is a great trip, effectively taking a full day (seven hours). It's brilliantly organised, and nicely leaves people with free time in the key places, while ensuring transport around Gozo. Staff in the boat are friendly and helpful. The sights are excellent. Good value. Highly recommended.

It was well worth doing. Take a rucksack with snacks, plenty water, hat, sunscreen, towel, swim shorts, sensible shoes you don't want ruined. March was the perfect time to do this. Much later it would have been scorching and busy. Using Google maps make sure departure places are nearby you. The same tour can sometimes leave from different harbours. Gozo was lovely, use Google maps to find restaurants and the citadel. Blue lagoon was breathtaking. I didn't realise we'd be getting off at Gozo but once I found where I was going it was fantastic.

The places visited are beautiful. The only flaw is not well explained the organization of the minivans once arrived in Gozo. For the rest everything really beautiful!
