This package is designed for those who just have one day in Sài Gòn and want to experience two most popular destinations nearby the city, Củ Chi tunnels and Mekong Delta. It will be a long day and you will spend almost 5 hours on a van traveling from city center to the Củ Chi district, the Mekong Delta, and back to Sài Gòn. So, if you have more than a day, we recommend you make two different day tours to enjoy each tour at its best.

Ben Dinh Tunnels
Upon arrival, we will watch a brief propaganda video before spending the next hour exploring weapon and booby trap exhibitions, navigating authentic VC tunnels, visiting different underground bunkers (kitchens, meeting rooms, ammunitions etc.), firing range and more. Try some local tapioca before driving back to the city.

5.00We had the best day with James who was our guide! He is incredibly personable and has a deep understanding of Vietnam and the history of the country, the wars and the politics. His English is amazing and we had absolutely no problem understanding him. Our driver Bey was excellent and kept us safe on the very hectic roads. This is a very nice tour if you do not have a ton of time to make more of a trip to this area. We highly recommend it. And if possible, ask for James. You will love him!

4.00The experience was very good, Anthony, our guide was very informative and helpful, 5 stars to our driver, the traffic was horrendous, the downside for us was the amount of driving in between the activities but tbh expected seeing the traffic. The highlight for us was the Cu Chi tunnels and the rowed boat in the Melkong Delta, if you're ever in Ho Chi Minh City do this trip

5.00My fiancée and I chose to do this full-day excursion with the Viet guide and we could not make a better choice! The day started with the pick-up directly from our hotel in the early morning. During the journey to the Cu Chi tunnels (about 1h30/2h depending on traffic), Viet entertained us with detailed and interesting explanations about the local history and culture, preparing us as best we could for what we would see. Along the way, we made a short stop at a workshop where they make paintings and objects with eggshells: a very touching project, because the people who work there had physical consequences related to the war. Arriving in Cu Chi, Viet guided us through the site, showing us traps, tunnels and all the details of soldiers' lives during the war. We also tried the shooting activity (optional) which costs 600,000 VND for 10 shots: thanks to Viet we were able to divide them among ourselves, making the experience even more fun. Then we moved to the Mekong Delta (about 2 hours by road). Here we had lunch with typical local dishes of fish and meat, really delicious. The afternoon was a succession of authentic experiences: the visit to coconut island with tasting and purchase of pandan candy, honey tasting, a local musical show accompanied by fresh fruit and finally the traditional canoe ride through the canals. To conclude this wonderful day, Viet even offered us a fresh coconut to drink directly from the fruit: a simple gesture but one that made everything even more special. Viet was impeccable: professional, attentive and always available to meet every need. It made our experience not only interesting but also very pleasant. I highly recommend this tour to anyone who wants to get up close and personal with Vietnamese history and experience the charm of Mekong!

We took a tour of the Cu Chi Tunnels and the Mekong Delta from Ho Chi Minh City, and were really impressed by the professionalism and passion of our guide James James was clear, prepared and engaging throughout the day. He explained the history of the tunnels and life during the war with great respect and attention, making even the most complex details understandable. In the second part of the tour, in the Mekong Delta, he was equally good: he accompanied us through the villages, canals and local activities with kindness, precision and sympathy A very complete experience, well organized.
