As some of the most experienced guides, the guides analyze weather predictions prior to every tour and have close contact with a network of guides for the highest chances to see the Northern Lights. The comfortable vehicle with 4x4 drive is fully equipped with everything you may need in the arctic, allowing you to discover remote scenery, reaching the more calm and peaceful places. Pick up is at a central location in Tromsø, allowing more time for finding, and seeing the Aurora earlier! With no two nights the same, the enthusiasm and dedication never fades.
Upon reaching suitable skies, we will set up camp for the evening. Most of the time this is a shorter drive to the surrounding coastal islands of Tromsø, or if needed a longer drive into Finland.

What To Expect
Tromso Fjords
Our custom built tour van, is fully equipped with everything we may need in the arctic, allowing us to discover remote scenery, reaching the more calm and peaceful places. Sometimes this is a short drive to the surrounding coast of Tromsø, or if needed a longer drive into Finland.

5.00We had an amazing night in Skogsfjord, lead by Bogdan! It was our last night in Tromso and we were waved good bye by an amazing Aurora! Bogdan made it feel safe and we had to believe in him since we started with a sky almost completely covered! He gave great photo tips and took amazing photos of all in the party, whilst driving, making the fire, serving soup and hot drinks, imparting a lot of info about the northern lights and being super-positive and fun! All in all I am very happy we chose Northern Soul Adventures - would go with them again!

5.00This was a fantastic experience! Our guide, Fede, was wonderful - he was kind, extremely knowledgeable and interesting, and deeply passionate about the lights and ensuring we had a great time. We got very lucky the night we went and the lights were unreal. Fede made sure we got lots of pictures with his nice camera. He built a fire and provided us with yummy soup, cookies, hot chocolate, coffee, tea, hand warmers, and feet warmers. I really recommend this tour, and try and book with Fede!

5.00We had the most amazing viewing of the lights and both Tomas and Mathias were wonderful hosts. We learnt a great deal about the science behind them and were kept nice and warm by the fire, with lovely soup and drinks too. We would highly recommend this experience to others!

5.00Our tour guide Samuel is a polite and professional guide. He tried his best to make our day. At first, due to the weather conditions, we didn’t have high hopes of seeing the Northern Lights, but Samuel kept monitoring the instruments closely and told us that there was a chance of sky clearing up at around 10 pm. As soon as we arrived, we ventured a bit further on our short hike to find the perfect spot—tucked away from the crowds, deeper into the woods, with a stunning view all to ourselves. After a while, Lady Aurora began to make her appearance, dancing gently across the sky. We lit a cozy campfire, sipped warm drinks, enjoyed hearty food, and had a blast experimenting with light painting—our creativity knew no bounds! The aurora put on a magical show, and we had an unforgettable time. Thank you Samuel and Northern Lights Adventures.

5.00An amazing experience chasing the northern lights in Tromsø with the great @fedesajoux ! @fedesajoux was an amazing guide, friendly, knowledgeable (I learnt more about photography that night than I have in 3 months looking at YouTube videos!) and his enthusiasm spread to everyone in group creating a great atmosphere. It really was a once in a lifetime experience and one that I will never forget. Highly, highly recommended. If you get a chance to visit Tromsø you owe it to yourself to do some northern lights chasing and @northernsouladventures offers the best experience possible. 10/10

5.00Spectacular experience! Our guide Tomas is passionate and an expert in Northern Lights. He easily explained the world of the Northern Lights. The passion for his work and his gift of people make the experience unforgettable. Anna the driver looked after us and advised us at all times, making the minibus a small home. She is a great professional and a person of 10! It gives off sympathy, joy and energy in full flow! The location was perfect, an idyllic setting. We were watching them for 1 hour! On the return they made sure to drop us off at the door of our accommodation. Tomas and Anna form a Dream team! We would repeat with them without a doubt!

5.00Unique arctic experience with very well prepared and super kind guides. Filip and Lucas did their best to provide us a lifetime menory. We were lucky to enjoy some very beautiful and strong aurora activity shortly after setting up the bonfire.
