I absolutely love these markets, 25 years ago we lived in Adelaide and I used to come to these markets once a week to buy flowers and occasionally I’d pick up a bit of fruit and veg. I’m much older now and I love to cook and spend time in my kitchen. Unfortunately like most, I have to shop at the major supermarkets where their produce compared to these markets is just dreadful! We’re in Adelaide on holiday from Sydney and the first thing we did when planning this holiday was to book this tour. Stephanie, our lovely tour guide walked us around the markets telling us about the history of the markets and stories of some of the stall owners. We were fortunate enough to try lots of products, everything was delicious. If you get the chance to visit Adelaide, this is tour a must. The fruit and veg is abundant, colourful and you can actually smell the produce as you walk around. I dread going home and buying my produce from the supermarkets.

We had a fantastic introduction to Central Markets Adelaide with our very knowledgeable and lovely tour guide Stephanie. We felt like honoured guests to the friendly stall owners and enjoyed the tasters and all the stories behind the business run from these markets. Breakfast at Lucia's was delicious. We will definitely be visiting the markets again when we are next in SA and highly recommend this experience.

we very much enjoyed our market tour, it was a birthday present and the breakfast was delicious at SiSea, the staff and owner kept us entertained..then the stroll around the market learning about different stalls and trying little titbits was so interesting..you really could be there for ages chatting to people..our guide was delightful and knowledgable..I was keen to take some arty photos and I had lots of opportunities...well worth it I think...

It was a pleasure to meet our tour guide Mary Ann and we enjoyed our tour. Good variety of activities and we a couple of stall holders generously spoke to us for a few minutes. We were able to have discounts at a few stalls.

My breakfast was delicious. Mark made me the best Chai Latte ever. He & Pauline were very warm & friendly. Stephanie who did the tour was very knowledgeable, well presented & nicely spoken. The taste testing on the tour was yummy. The free Chai at the conclusion was a bonus. The actual markets were kept so clean & smelt fresh.
