Blue Mountains National Park
We will spend a few hours exploring some of the best Blue Mountains natural landscapes from the options listed below with a series of short guided wilderness walks away from the crowds: * Immerse yourself in a Jurassic wonderland of giant tree ferns and rainforest that has changed little since the time of the dinosaurs. * Wander through secluded groves of towering Eucalyptus trees, serenaded by birdsong as you breathe in the fresh mountain air and contemplate the region's ancient indigenous heritage. * Dip your toes in crystal clear mountain streams that meander through rainforest canyons before plummeting dramatically as waterfalls to the valley below. * Get up close to ancient sandstone cliffs, intricately eroded over millions of years, that are covered in a dazzling tapestry of mosses, ferns and wildflowers. * Discover native Australian animals in their natural environment, rather than in a zoo.
Sublime Point Lookout
One of the most spectacular of all the Blue Mountains lookouts. From Sublime Point you will gaze out from the rim of a vast canyon towards a seemingly endless wilderness of sandstone plateaux, escarpments and gorges filled with eucalyptus trees, wildflowers and Gondwanan rainforest. During the warmer months we'll enjoy a picnic lunch here in the shade of Eucalyptus trees.
Snacks
Experience an iconic Aussie pie or other pastry from an award winning local Blue Mountains bakery.
Please bring a re-fillable water bottle with you to reduce unnecessary plastic waste. There will be plenty of places where you can refill with fresh, clean & delicious Blue Mountains water!

Craig was a awesome guide to many view spot to see the beautiful Blue Mountain National Park, Kangaroos in a natural enviroment. Had a great tradition meat pie lunch. This is not to hard of a walk for those that aren’t young, but young at heart and will enjoy the information that Craig had to offer!

Our tour guide was exceptional; he was knowledgeable and considerate. He provided snacks and water throughout our tour. He has walking poles if you like to use them. The only suggestion we would recommend is listing the category of the hiking, whether it be beginner, intermediate or advanced. Also be mindful of the heat because it can be draining. We would recommend this tour because it was adventurous with lots of beautiful scenery.

This was an amazing tour of the Blue Mountains. Craig knew all of the spots to avoid the bigger tours. We felt as if we had the look outs, rain forest and wildlife to ourselves. Craig provided us with a 5 stadium world class experience. If you dont take this tour you will be missing out on the experience of a lifetime.

Craig delivered a phenomenal tour. He evaluates the fitness level of the group and modifies the tour appropriately! Great hikes to waterfalls, through rainforests, and ending with a beautiful sunset! Top notch the whole way!

⭐️⭐️ (2/5 stars) I’m giving this tour two stars only because the guide agreed to add my mother last minute. That said, it ultimately benefited him since he collected the full fee without having to pay Viator’s cut. Unfortunately, the tour was not what was advertised. The itinerary promised 8–12 meaningful stops in the Blue Mountains. In reality, there were only two actual hiking stops. The next two “stops” were simply bathroom breaks — one being a hole-in-the-floor style restroom and the other a basic porta potty. Food was another major disappointment. We were charged $200 per person, yet lunch consisted of one pie per guest (roughly a $10–$12 item) eaten at a picnic table with no napkins, plates, or setup that made it feel like an actual picnic. A third stop was meant to be a kangaroo sighting in a valley, but this was mostly just driving around with minimal guidance or spotting. Ironically, the next stop at a farm allowed us to get closer to a cow than to any kangaroos. What was presented as dinner or a second substantial meal was a very cheap and sparse spread: two warm cheeses with crackers, packaged lamingtons, carrots sitting in water with hummus, and sliced oranges that felt more like a kids’ sports snack than a meal. Several guests openly complained they were hungry. No drinks were provided at any point. Guests were directed to a spigot on the side of a bathroom to refill their own bottles. There were no other water stops, and some guests ran out of water entirely. At that point, the guide used his personal thermos and a funnel to share his own water, which highlights how poorly planned this was. Overall, the trip felt cheap, rushed, and not well thought out. This might have been salvageable if the guide were engaging or knowledgeable, but many basic questions about Sydney and the area went unanswered — surprising for someone who claims to have lived there for over 40 years. I understand weather can change, but taking guests to a lookout simply to prove there’s no view doesn’t improve morale. A thoughtful guide might offer a small treat, coffee, ice cream, or even a drink stop to lift spirits — none of that happened. The final straw was poor planning around Australia Day traffic. The guide got stuck as if this was unexpected, then refused to reroute to drop guests closer to their hotels. Instead, he dropped us on the outskirts of Sydney and made us walk back, despite being told that two nearby streets were open. He insisted everything was blocked, which was not accurate. Additionally, we were taken to closed trails with unsafe railings. I appreciate wanting to go “off the beaten path,” but safety should never be compromised. Overall, this tour did not deliver on its promises. If weather turns or plans change, do not expect flexibility, adequate food, drinks, or thoughtful alternatives. Future guests deserve to know what they are really paying for.

To experience the best of the Blue Mountains, Craig is your go to guide! Beginning with a hearty meal, he will lead you on a hike down the marvel at the spectacular view of Wentworth Falls, followed by an encounter with kangaroos and ending at the iconic Three Sisters Overlook. Craig’s passion for the Blue Mountains makes his tour an unforgettable experience you won’t want to miss!!

My wife and I recently toured with Craig on the Intimate Blue Mountain and wild kangaroo excursion. The excursion exceeded all the expectations that we had. Our group size was limited to 10 people which was ideal. Craig was so knowledgeable, patient and thorough. We were in Australia for 25 days and took many excursions, Craig’s was the best tour. We highly recommend this tour to anyone that is in Sydney. The price was well worth it.

Our guide, Craig, was amazing. He made this trip truly a one of a kind experience! The little touches such as ordering an Aussie meat pie and taking us to a picnic spot to enjoy it, hikes that were not touristy, healthy snacks to end the day at three sisters were very special. He had knowledge about the history, plants and animals that we wouldn’t have gotten if we had gone on our own. It was a small group of 10 and we all got to know each other as the day went on. The only way one wouldn’t have loved this is that they did not like to be in the outdoors. I came away feeling energized! Thank you, Craig!

A great trip with a great guide who gave us plenty of time at each stop and arranged it for sunset at the Three Sisters. Gorgeous.
