My husband and I recently spent a full-day wine tour around Siena that exceeded every expectation. We visited three distinct vineyards, enjoyed guided tastings at each, and savored a chef-prepared lunch at the second estate. The scenery, the wines, and the overall pacing of the day were wonderful — but what truly made the experience unforgettable was our guide, Juliana. Juliana’s knowledge of the region is remarkable. She explained the terroir, soil types, and microclimates with clarity and enthusiasm, tying each detail directly to the character of the wines we tasted. Her history of the local grape varieties, and the stories about how winemaking traditions evolved in the area, were engaging, informative, and often delightfully unexpected. She struck the perfect balance between expert insight and accessible, entertaining storytelling. Each vineyard offered something different, and Juliana’s introductions helped us appreciate those differences fully. The tastings were paced perfectly so we could compare styles without feeling rushed. The lunch at the second vineyard was a highlight: a beautifully prepared, chef-driven meal that paired perfectly with the estate’s wines — a true culinary and oenological delight. Logistics were seamless: comfortable transport, clear timing, and Juliana checked in throughout the day to make sure everyone was happy. Whether you’re a wine novice or a seasoned enthusiast, this tour offers depth, beauty, and genuine hospitality. I can’t recommend Juliana highly enough — her expertise, warmth, and passion for the region turned a great itinerary into an exceptional day.

A very good tour, with a fine lunch and excellent wine. Our guide, Sara, was warm, welcoming and well versed about the region, vineyards, wineries, and wine produced in Montalcino. We were served three selections from Tricherci, a table wine, rosso and brunello. We enjoyed them all as well as noting the differences between them. The others on our tour provided good company for a fine day.
