We’ve done many wine tastings in the past but have never had an experience like this before! Mattias was an exceptional teacher, full of stories, history and conversation. He knows the Siena wine world from the inside and it was truly a wonderful day. The wines were incredible and the lunch was delicious. Not to miss!

This tour was one of the absolute highlights of our time in Italy. Our guide, Kecko, was phenomenal—his passion for and knowledge about Italian wine, especially Montalcino Brunello, far surpassed what we learned on other winery tours (including one we did on our own). He made the drive from Siena fly by with fascinating stories and deep insights into the winemaking process and history. The standout moment was the "light lunch" at Bellaria Winery, cooked personally by the owner, Gianni. It was anything but light, and Gianni’s cooking was so good we joked he should open a restaurant in addition to the winery! The whole experience felt authentic, welcoming, and unforgettable. We had such a great time and learned so much. We truly couldn’t recommend this tour enough. Grazie mille!

This tour was a perfect experience trying local wines, homemade food, and learning about it all throughout the ride. We were picked up promptly at 9:30 at a centered meeting point and taken to a family run winery to learn about the different wines made around Montalcino. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable about viticulture and the winemaking process. The second winery offered an incredible spread of freshly made snacks and lunch, thoughtfully paired with each glass we tasted. The final stop at the third winery provided a lovely conclusion to the day, rounding out the experience with more excellent wine and warm hospitality.

This wine tour was a highlight of our trip! Chieco was a fun and knowledgeable tour guide! We started with a trip through the Tuscan countryside where Chieco explained the history of the region. Then we went to three beautiful wineries, one where we had homemade lunch from their family’s kitchen! We also got to explore a stunning monastery and were able to walk around the town of Montalcino. It was an incredible day, the perfect wine tour from Siena!
