The Houses are called "Stazzo", Old Granit Stone Buildings, the "Architecture" of the Region Gallura. there is a lot to love about this charming little Italian mountain village, an authentic old Architecture that inspired Costa Smeralda's Architects. If you would like to visit it in the evening, you'll feel as though you've been transported to another time and place when you watch the stunning sunset, the surrounding peaks cast the town in shades of purple and orange.

5.00I booked this trip because I was travelling without a car and wanted to get a glimpse of some other areas of Sardinia. I'm so glad I did! Ivana was a wonderful tour leader - kind, funny, chatty, helpful and interesting. I learned loads about not only the places that we visited but also the history and culture of Sardinia in general. Porto Cervo was a pleasant surprise for me too. Although clearly designed for the very wealthy, it's tastefully done and suits the beautiful setting. Logistics-wise, communication leading up to the trip was great, and the vehicle was very comfortable. I felt we had the right amount of time at each stop - it was extremely hot that day, so endless wandering wasn't really an option. The tour also ends in time for you to squeeze in an afternoon beach trip from Olbia. Alternatively, one of the stops on the trip (assuming they're the same each time) has a beach, so you might want to take swim stuff with you.

She was professional, very knowledgeable about the area, gave everyone leisure time to explore and has a great rapport with everyone and had a lovely sense of humour.
