What To Expect
Burford
The day begins by departing London and travelling towards the quintessentially English countryside of The Cotswolds; an area that is famous for its beautiful landscape, charming villages and honey-coloured stone cottages. Our first stop will be the traditional town of Burford; known as the ‘Gateway to the Cotswolds’. This is a historic place where many houses date back nearly 600 years and little has changed for centuries. During the visit there will be time to explore Burford, visit the magnificent church and stroll along the high street to visit a mix of independent family-run shops.
Bibury
The village of Bibury is often described as the 'prettiest village in England'. It's charming scene is a snapshot of traditional English country life. Wander along the gentle river and see the iconic Arlington Row; a set of weavers cottages that are now one of the symbols of the Cotswolds.

5.00We met at a coffee shop before boarding a clean, comfortable coach van. Our driver, Chris S., shared interesting and informative details about the area as we traveled. We visited four charming villages, although Arlington Row felt a bit unnecessary. In Bourton-on-the-Water, I had a great sandwich at Fresh for Lunch, the Peri Peri sandwich is an excellent choice if you enjoy mild spice. Others in our group ate at The Den, which offers an extensive gluten-free selection. Stow-on-the-Wold was perfect for antique browsing, and Burford had excellent shopping. Overall, the experience was wonderful and flew by far too quickly. I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone visiting London or the surrounding area.

5.00It was an excellent tour, with ample time at stops . The tour guide was very knowledgeable. He was polite. We enjoyed every bit of the tour. This is my second time I took this tour. Only one suggestion " If the stop time at Bibury village could be increased a little bit. Such a beautiful village, with very little time.

5.00Fabulous trip. Met up at a coffee shop to get on the van. Less than 20 folks in the tour which made it great to talk with others or hang on your own. Very informational driver/guide. A trip to London would not have been complete without a visit to the countryside. I highly recommend the tour company and this particular adventure.

5.00It was really wonderful trip, the group was so friendly and the star of the trip is our tour guide and driver Tony… the information and stories he told us was enormous and fabulous… the scenes were incredible and could transfer you into another time.. really loved it

Ash provided lots of historical insight throughout the journey and we enjoyed many of his great local tips in every town we visited. 5.00This trip provided a very nice overview of the Cotswolds area. David was our guide and he was excellent. Funny and charming! We visited 4 different villages. At each stop he recommended sights to see and places to eat. The bus was comfortable and the number of people was just right. A nice day trip to escape the hustle and bustle of London.
