Burford
The day begins by departing London and travelling towards the quintessentially English countryside of The Cotswolds; an area that is famous for its beautiful landscape, charming villages and honey-coloured stone cottages. Our first stop will be the traditional town of Burford; known as the ‘Gateway to the Cotswolds’. This is a historic place where many houses date back nearly 600 years and little has changed for centuries. During the visit there will be time to explore Burford, visit the magnificent church and stroll along the high street to visit a mix of independent family-run shops.
Bibury
The village of Bibury is often described as the 'prettiest village in England'. It's charming scene is a snapshot of traditional English country life. Wander along the gentle river and see the iconic Arlington Row; a set of weavers cottages that are now one of the symbols of the Cotswolds.

Jame was a great driver and guide! We enjoyed our trip and wished we could’ve stayed a little longer in each town. Please be aware that public restrooms were not free. Be sure to take some coins with you! Also, our tour was on a Sunday and some of the shops were closed. Overall, it was a great trip!

Tony was an excellent tour guide. Very informative and talked just enough to keep us engaged but not overwhelmed. The tour was just the right amount of sites and the time at each was enough

Our tour guide, Chris P, was excellent and knowledgeable. The Cotswolds are a beautiful place, with quaint villages and picturesque views. The small van took us to places where a large bus could not go. Highly recommended!

When we arrived at the meeting point, the guide told us that we could not join the tour because we had a child with us. The website clearly states that the tour is stroller accessible, which made us believe children were welcome. Only if you click on “more details” do you see that children under 7 are not allowed. This is very misleading. They should clearly state in the title of the excursion that it is adults only. We were a group of 6 people, and because of this issue, we lost the entire tour. No alternative or solution was offered—just the explanation that it was Viator’s fault for not including this restriction in the main specifications. Unfortunately, our family experience was ruined due to this lack of clear communication.

Perfect group tour. 4 stops all of which you re given just the right amount of time to enjoy the village but not too much time where you are just standing around. Chris P great tour guide as he provided details about the area, recommendations on things to do and then let you enjoy the scenic drive.
