Burford
The day begins by departing London and travelling towards the quintessentially English countryside of The Cotswolds; an area that is famous for its beautiful landscape, charming villages and honey-coloured stone cottages. Our first stop will be the traditional town of Burford; known as the ‘Gateway to the Cotswolds’. This is a historic place where many houses date back nearly 600 years and little has changed for centuries. During the visit there will be time to explore Burford, visit the magnificent church and stroll along the high street to visit a mix of independent family-run shops.
Bibury
The village of Bibury is often described as the 'prettiest village in England'. It's charming scene is a snapshot of traditional English country life. Wander along the gentle river and see the iconic Arlington Row; a set of weavers cottages that are now one of the symbols of the Cotswolds.

Excellent tour, and our tour guide Liam made it all that much better. He was such a fantastic history teller! It was a long day and many hours, yet the time was very enjoyable with Liam's explanations of the culture and history behind town names, explanations of how Boroughs and Shires were developed along with some Roman history thrown in. It really was a fun and interesting day. Thanks Liam!

The guide and location were great. The bus was uncomfortable for a 4.5 hour ride. We were sandwiched in the back row in very small seats. The group shouldn’t have been more than 15.

Great day with Liam!!! Very nice trip and enjoyed his narration throughout the day on many different things… Very personable & professional while creating some great conversation along the way. The Cotswolds are a must see when in London and you have the time.

Our day in the Cotswolds was a lot of fun. Our guide Nigel was very informative and provided some great tips on what to look for. He also provided some good tunes to listen to on the drive up and back

It was a lovely day to visit the England countryside with very quaint villages of old stone cottages. A couple of stops had shops, restaurants, or things to see like a church from many years ago. Our tour driver, Len, was great, providing us with very interesting stories along the way. We were lucky to have a perfect weather day for this diversion from the hustle bustle of the city of London.

Fabulous day in the Cotswalds! Can't say enough about Liam. I learned so much about British area names and history ( and I thought I already knew a lot!) Directions and good advice at each stop, lots of local color, and fun without being silly. The tour is well - designed, efficient, and hits the best spots. Great value, too. 10/10!!
