What To Expect
Burford
The day begins by departing London and travelling towards the quintessentially English countryside of The Cotswolds; an area that is famous for its beautiful landscape, charming villages and honey-coloured stone cottages. Our first stop will be the traditional town of Burford; known as the ‘Gateway to the Cotswolds’. This is a historic place where many houses date back nearly 600 years and little has changed for centuries. During the visit there will be time to explore Burford, visit the magnificent church and stroll along the high street to visit a mix of independent family-run shops.
Bibury
The village of Bibury is often described as the 'prettiest village in England'. It's charming scene is a snapshot of traditional English country life. Wander along the gentle river and see the iconic Arlington Row; a set of weavers cottages that are now one of the symbols of the Cotswolds.

4.00Guide was very good but your did not include seeing a chocolate box house or fields of sheep just busy crowded market towns for souvenir shopping years ago saw chocolate box houses and sheep today saw lots of people with their dogs and expensive cars.

5.00We really enjoyed this day trip to the Cotswolds with driver/guide Nigel. We visited on a late spring weekday and did not experience the traffic jams and heaving crowds that apparently blight the region on weekends and summer holidays, making for a very relaxed day with ample time at each location to take photos, eat and shop, depending on what the village had to offer. Nigel was everything you’d want in a travel guide: enthusiastic, engaging, entertaining, and knowledgeable. Our drive was a mixture of history,anecdotes, and a curated musical playlist. This was a great way for a couple of Aussies to experience a slice of English history and countryside.

5.00Really lovely tour. Had the best time listening to all the interesting things about the Cotswolds. It's supposed to be a hook for a longer tour so keep that in mind. You do see a few interesting points so it's worth it for me.

5.00We went on the small group cotswel trip. It was lovely. A great amuse bouche to the area. We will have to return and stay longer. Our guide was Nigel. He was absolutely wonderful. He had a play list that matched with our journey and was reflective of UK artists. He was very knowledgeable and had wonderful stories. If you have Nigel your day is set!

5.00I took this day trip on 05/29 with Tony leaving from South Kensington Tube Station. I thoroughly enjoyed my day. Tony provided interesting info en route and a list of places to visit at each stop. He was very friendly, played wonderful background music, and was very knowledgeable about all the villages we visited. I look forward to taking another tour with him on my next trip to London.

1.00This is just a bus ride to the castle. It also includes the headset. But we expected some commentary . We didn't even have bus driver who introduced himself.

5.00It was great! The little towns were very quaint and very interesting. Our driver, David was excellent. He gave us all the pertinent information on each of the towns, and even sang for us. I would highly recommend this tour.

5.00My husband and I had a wonderful tour of the Cotswolds! The drivers, Chris and Sean, did a great job providing history and fun along the way! The person checking people in at the meeting place was quite rude to several of us checking in. Not sure what was going on with him! Sent an email to the company about him. Hopefully he gets some much needed training!
