What To Expect

Burford

The day begins by departing London and travelling towards the quintessentially English countryside of The Cotswolds; an area that is famous for its beautiful landscape, charming villages and honey-coloured stone cottages. Our first stop will be the traditional town of Burford; known as the ‘Gateway to the Cotswolds’. This is a historic place where many houses date back nearly 600 years and little has changed for centuries. During the visit there will be time to explore Burford, visit the magnificent church and stroll along the high street to visit a mix of independent family-run shops.

Bibury

The village of Bibury is often described as the 'prettiest village in England'. It's charming scene is a snapshot of traditional English country life. Wander along the gentle river and see the iconic Arlington Row; a set of weavers cottages that are now one of the symbols of the Cotswolds.

We visited 4 different villages with an outstanding guide, Nigel! Loved his song choices but maybe a tad less volume. Each village was a treat, a definitely gave you the true sense of the places. Nigel drove us on a back country roadway that was serene in its beauty! Wish the seats and seatbelts on the van were a touch less tight but overall we thoroughly enjoyed our experience! Worth every pound!
Nigel our tour guide was exceptional ! He is a great storyteller- you could tell he puts a lot of thought into his job!

Very clean, new mini bus that sat a maximum of 16. Seats elevated as you go towards the back for prime sightseeing. James, our driver/tour guide was excellent. Plenty of time at the various stops to see & do everything. Very easy, relaxing way to get acquainted with the Cotswolds.

This approximately 9 hour trip is worthwhile. The vehicle is in good condition, clean and roadworthy. The driver/guide is good and takes care of the passengers/clients. The trip to the Cotswold villages takes a little while but well worth it. It is a scenic area with quaint housing and a lot of history. There is enough time to explore the villages, with excellent recommendations from our guide as to what to see and where to have drinks and lunch. Thank you James. I enjoyed it very much.

This was amazing. Our guide Liam was just so knowledgeable of so many historical and pop information. We journey through some of the most incredible and beautiful lands in the Cotswolds. This is well worth the value!
