What To Expect
Burford
The day begins by departing London and travelling towards the quintessentially English countryside of The Cotswolds; an area that is famous for its beautiful landscape, charming villages and honey-coloured stone cottages. Our first stop will be the traditional town of Burford; known as the ‘Gateway to the Cotswolds’. This is a historic place where many houses date back nearly 600 years and little has changed for centuries. During the visit there will be time to explore Burford, visit the magnificent church and stroll along the high street to visit a mix of independent family-run shops.
Bibury
The village of Bibury is often described as the 'prettiest village in England'. It's charming scene is a snapshot of traditional English country life. Wander along the gentle river and see the iconic Arlington Row; a set of weavers cottages that are now one of the symbols of the Cotswolds.

The itinerary was thoughtfully planned, giving us the chance to visit some truly beautiful towns including Burford, Bibury, Bourton-on-the-Water, and Stow-on-the-Wold. Each stop had its own charm, and the pacing was just right—we had enough time to explore, take photos, and really get a feel for each location without ever feeling rushed. What really made the day stand out was our driver and guide, Liam. He shared a wealth of interesting history about the Cotswolds and England more broadly, which added so much context to what we were seeing. Between stops, he kept the atmosphere light and fun with a great British music playlist that perfectly complemented the journey. The scenery throughout the day was just as memorable as the towns themselves—rolling countryside, picturesque villages, and classic English charm at every turn. Overall, this was a well-organized and thoroughly enjoyable tour that we would highly recommend to anyone looking to experience the Cotswolds in a relaxed and engaging way.

5.00We traveled to the Cotswolds with Chris who was excellent from start to finish! The drive from London was comfortable and relaxing and Chris shared interesting commentary and funny stories in a way that was perfect and not overbearing. He also provided helpful information before we arrived in each village and it was very easy to get from the bus into each village and back again. We had a great day and a wonderful time in the Cotswolds. Thank you Chris!

5.00I just did the Cotswolds Tour with Go Tours. The villages were everything I had dreamt they would be. Doing the trip in a van was much nicer than on a huge bus. 5.00Every town visited is cuter and more picturesque than the last and if you like antiquing make sure you’ve left extra spaces in your bags. Nigel made the day so smooth and informative and made sure to tweak the itinerary where he could for hidden treasures and more scenic routes while keeping us flawlessly on time the whole day. Highly recommend!
