  We were absolutely blown away by our experience with 4 Wheel Diving. My wife found them online, and from the very first email exchange—setting up scuba certification for our 12- and 15-year-old boys—we felt they completely understood what we were trying to do and made the process incredibly easy. They even accommodated a last-minute request to be sure the boys completed the correct coursework ahead of time. Our in-person experience was even better. We were greeted warmly by the owner’s parents, Vanessa and Rob, who quickly confirmed that they had already checked that all of our paperwork was in order earlier that morning. Our instructor, Yago, was the perfect combination of fun, cheerful, knowledgeable, and fantastic with kids. My wife and I needed a refresher since we hadn’t been diving since our boys were born, so we joined in for the practical lessons and 2 of the 3 dives on the first day—which both included reef exploration. The setup is amazing: about 10–15 feet of sandy bottom just 100 steps from the dive shop (located within a boat yard), and then tons of world-class reef just beyond. Being able to do incredible diving immediately while learning the basics was such a treat. The boys then completed a second short skills dive in the sandy area (which we skipped), followed by lunch that was provided. After that, we all headed out for a third and final dive of the day, exploring the reef to complete their scuba certifications. Yago was outstanding throughout—his clear, gentle guidance on body position and buoyancy control helped all of us climb the learning curve quickly and confidently. We had so much fun that we booked another recreational dive at Salt Pier (about a 20-minute drive, but also a shore dive), this time with Jack, a marine biologist. Experiencing both instructors really highlighted the high caliber of the entire team—truly top notch. The final dive was even better than the rest, and Jack prepared us beautifully with his knowledge of the turtles, fish, corals, and sponges we were likely to see. • Great Shore Dives

  Great experience . . . Vanessa runs the operation and Rob is a great guide/master. Two shore dives . . . nice and easy, with two large resident tarpon, and a man made halocline. Loved that it was just me and Rob. Between dives lunch was great and the staff was friendly and talkative. I would recommend these people anytime, and hope to get back to them soon, and Bonair is one of the best places to dive.

  We had the most amazing day diving in Bonaire thanks to Vanessa and Jack from 4 Wheel Diving! Our schedule was extremely tight, and they were unbelievably flexible — adjusting the timing and accommodating every change without any stress at all. Their kindness and patience truly made us feel like VIPs from start to finish. From the moment we arrived, the team was supportive, professional, and genuinely passionate about giving us the best possible experience. The dive briefing was clear, detailed, and reassuring, and we felt completely safe the entire time. Once we were in the water, everything was seamless — we were able to fully relax and enjoy the beauty of Bonaire’s underwater world. A special touch that meant so much: they took photos of the entire experience, allowing us to be fully present in the moment while still having incredible memories to take home. And the homemade lunch was absolutely delicious — such a thoughtful and personal addition to a perfect day. We felt cared for, welcomed, and truly spoiled. I would highly, highly recommend 4 Wheel Diving to anyone wanting to experience Bonaire’s spectacular diving.   Great beautiful experience with the four of us together with a top dive instructor. Explanation was very careful and clear, learned a lot in a light and humorous way, then went diving for the diving school; what a beautiful place with special coral formations and lots of colorful fish. Highly recommended. Mother and son team, small scale, careful and very helpful.

  From the get-go Yago and everyone at 4- Wheel Diving was friendly, helpful, and they only wanted us to have a great experience. The equipment was top-notch, as was their little dive shop in Bonaire. We definitely are going back to this beautiful island and diving with the crew had 4 Wheel!

  I’m a dive instructor and every time I go to Bonaire I will spend a couple days diving with my friends at 4 Wheel Diving. In the big truck or on the boat, they always take me on some fantastic dive that I never would have found on my own. Yago, his mother Vanessa, Rob, Jack and the rest of the crew are all such a pleasure to spend time with. Thanks guys SteveO

  I work on a boat, so finding hidden gems for my guests is what I do—and let me tell you, 4 Wheels Diving is the real deal. Yago and Aexi are absolute pros: super knowledgeable, laid-back, and genuinely passionate about what they do. They picked us up right from the cruise port, and everything from the gear to the dive spot was spot-on. The equipment was in great shape, and the dive site was just steps off the boat ramp—so easy and convenient. I felt completely safe and looked after the entire time. And in between dives, Fresh-caught tuna wraps and local snacks, made right there. It doesn’t get better than that. On top of it all, they shared so much local knowledge—I left feeling like I’d really experienced the place, not just visited. Five stars, hands down. My only regret? • Awesome Bonaire diving with 4Wheel Diving

  My wife and I visited Bonaire on a cruise yesterday, we wanted a top knotch, small group, well run trip that fit our schedule away from the craziness of the ship. We found it with 4 Wheel Diving. The guys picked us up right on time, directly in front of the ship, like VIP’s. We headed to the shop and got setup with our rental gear, which was in really good condition, (nice Zeagle gear), were briefed on proper etiquette on the reef and in the park, then briefed on the dives. Clear, concise, knowledgeable, friendly divemasters Yago and Lexi made this a special day. Yago got some great footage of the dives. Vanessa was great to deal with and lunch was awesome. Since I was certified as an instructor in 1994 I’ve always wanted to dive Bonaire and I finally got my chance. I’m glad I did it with this shop and I really hope to be come back and spend more time. When we do, we’ll be diving with 4Wheel.

  Family of three in Bonaire for only a few hours on a cruise stop. The 4 wheel diving team created an amazing two-tank shore dive experience with high quality gear, a super friendly attitude, a great lunch in-between dives, and by capturing amazing underwater video of our dive experience, which they shared afterwards.
