Marine Biologists as guides
Explore the Atlantic in search of marine wildlife with Marine Biologists on board, and learn more about dolphins in their natural habitat. Discover different species of cetaceans, birds and other marine life in an exciting experience in the Algarve ! Departing from Faro, you will be able to enjoy the landscape of Ria Formosa Natural park while we cruise towards the Atlantic ocean. When outside, the guides will look out for different wildlife, specially for cetaceans! There are great chances to see dolphins like the Bottlenose dolphin (Tursiops truncatus) or the Common dolphin (Delphinus delphis) and if your are lucky we can even spot Orcas or whales. During this trip you will also be able to spot different species of marine birds like the Northern Gannet (Morus bassanus), Shearwaters and Storm Petrels! It is also common to see some other animals such as the Ocean Sunfish (Mola mola), Atlantic Bluefin Tuna (Thunnus thynnus) and some species of sharks or marine turtles. After spotting a group of cetaceans, our team of Marine biologists will provide information about the animals and also collect data for research before we head back to Faro.

Amazing trip!! The guides are so lovely and just as excited to see the marine life as we were we got to see both types of dolphins & a Portuguese Man-o-war. Unfortunately no whales or sharks as they’re more summer sightings but still loved the experience! Would recommend to friends & do again !

We had a nice tour and saw many dolphins and even a whale. The guides were friendly, well organized and could tell us a lot about the animals.

Excellant, informative and fun! The only criticism we had was …we weren’t sure we were at the correct office as they were all out on the previous trip. A board or something to tell the next customers what was happening would have helped enormously!

It was a great experience, especially for children. We could discover two different dolphin species. The guides are super friendly and provide interesting details about the sea and the animals. It's best to take a windbreaker. It is windy and wet😊 Not for people with back problems.
