  This was a wonderful tour, our guide Jorge was amazing. He was able to answer all of our questions and was a very safe driver. Getting to do the river cruise and going to such intimate wine tasting experiences was such a highlight of our trip. If I come back to Porto, I will absolutely do this trip again.

  Wow, what an amazing full day tour with our excellent guide Miguel. Miguel was very nice and was very passionate and knowledgeable about Portugal, Porto and the Douro Valley. In the morning we stopped in a little town called Amarante for a quick break and then headed to a winery for a very informative tour and wine tasting followed by an excellent lunch . We then went on a very nice boat ride on the Douro River and then drove to another winery for more wonderful wine tasting and a tour. This day-long tour far exceeded our expectations.

  I had a really lovely time on this tour. The small group was perfect, and the tour felt generally relaxed and personal rather than rushed or crowded. The vineyards and views were absolutely beautiful, lunch was delicious with thoughtful wine pairings, and the pace of the day was really pleasant. Our guide, Davide, was friendly and professional and made sure everything ran smoothly throughout the day. The only small thing that surprised me was that I had expected a more formal second wine tasting, rather than lunch with wine and then an informal visit to the shop. But overall it was a great day, would definitely recommend to anyone visiting Porto to visit the Douro valley which you're unlikely to see much of without a rental car.

  Slimmy was the absolute best tour guide! Very knowledgeable, attentive and entertaining!!! Felt very safe with Bino behind the wheel! Lots of steep, winding roads which he managed with ease.

  We had an absolutely amazing day exploring the Douro Valley with Living Tours Porto, and being in a small group made the whole experience feel more personal and relaxed. Our guide Rui had the day running like clockwork with plenty of time allowed at each stop to take in the views and enjoy the wine and port. We left a bottle of port we purchased in the car, Rui went out of his way the following day to drop it of at our hotel. If you’re after a well-organised, crowd-free, great day out, we highly recommed this tour and our guide Rui.

  We had an unforgettable day on our Douro Valley wine tasting tour, thanks to our amazing guide, Nuno. There was just one other couple, and by the end of the day the five of us felt like friends. Nuno has a real gift for bringing people together, and his engaging conversation made the long (and beautiful) drives fly by. The boat tour was fun despite the rain, and both winery visits were organized, informative, and genuinely enjoyable. We tasted plenty of Port and had unlimited wine with a delicious three-course meal in the most charming old world kitchen. It felt like a fairy tale. But the highlight was truly Nuno. He’s far more than a tour guide! He’s a passionate historian and a proud ambassador of his country. His knowledge, warmth, and storytelling made this one of our favorite days in Portugal. Highly recommend!

  We had a wonderful day tour to Douro Valley - Small Group Wine Tour with lunch and a Cruise. Nuno was a great tour guide with a wealth of information. The wineries we went to (Quinta do Panascal and Quinta Santa Julia) were excellent and their staff was very friendly and accommodating. We had a lovely lunch included at Quinta Santa Julia. The boat cruise was fun and informative, however the weather was not coopering for us. Bruno and Kaul made it fun despite the weather and filled us in with more great info of the Douro. Even with the rain, it was a beautiful day and we thoroughly enjoyed it.

  Pedro was very informative. He kept us entertained and educated on our journey. The winery’s were top notch! Especially the port.

  Had a wonderful guide, but this tour really depends on WHEN you get picked up by said guide. If you're not first, you're sitting in the back of van on roads comparable to the Road to Hana in Hawaii. If you have no issues with car sickness, book this trip and have a blast!

  10 hours of enjoyable and informative experiences. Pleasant company, on time and a very entertaining and knowledgable guide At the end, had my prejudices and preferences challenged!!! Now happy to order Rose wines!
