The e-bike experience in Civita called "Castello nel Cielo" is unique. Just outside Orvieto you pass through the ancient Badia and then go up the plateau which from the ancient Dimora di Collevento through Canale and then Boccetta leads to Bagnoregio, accompanied only by the rustle of a breeze that keeps the air clear here in all seasons , clean and fresh. The images that can be fixed in these places of great beauty, where the panoramas offer views of vineyards, olive trees, pastures and woods are a joy for the eyes. Farmhouses and cellars meet along the path where you can buy the real typical products of the place. Then the arrival at the Civita belvedere is indescribable, a glance that leaves you breathless. The visit to the village, a set of famous films, is a continuous emotion, with its premises, artisan shops, perfumes, essences ...
We return by stopping at the Belvedere of the Terrazza Farnese, from where the Orvieto cliff can be admired in all its majesty and elegance

What a lovely day! After 3 days in Rome, biking through the countryside was a nice break. Val was the best. He was positive, knowledgeable, and interesting. He made the day very enjoyable. Civita was a magical place on the hill. The lunch was much better than expected. Many tasty dishes and flowing wine. There were only three of us on the tour.

Our guide was Georgio. He was very friendly. Our trip took us on paved roads and gravel roads. We had beautiful views of the countryside. We road to a small town of Lubriano where we had a stop for a coffee and pastry. Then on to Civita di Bagnoregio. It's a bit of a climb up to the villiage but well worth it. We had wonderful weather so it was a wonderful ride.

My husband and I had a fantastic day riding through the countryside with what turned out to be a personal guide. Paolo is passionate, knowledgeable, and full of life. He was incredibly attentive and made sure we had a wonderful experience from start to finish. We’re so glad we decided to take this tour—even though we were a bit nervous about riding e-bikes for the first time, especially through the hills. The bikes were easy to use and so much fun! The views were absolutely breathtaking, and Civita was everything we hoped for and more, thanks to Paolo’s guidance. Lunch was delicious and plentiful, and we even stopped mid-morning in a charming town with beautiful views for a quick break, coffee, and a snack. We had brought our own but you could buy something there. It’s a great idea to have a light bite there, as lunch is served later in the afternoon. Even with e-bikes, you’ll want a bit of energy for the walk up to Civita. Highly recommend!!!

We did not know what to expect, but in every way it exceeded our expectations. Mountain biking on dirt roads through vineyards. Stops in quaint villages with Etruscan caves. Culminating with a visit to Aqua Civita. It is a 20 mile bike ride and a strenuous walk into Civita, which for some might be challenging. Our guide Paola was spectacular.

Maurizio was so informative and personable on our tour! We tasted fresh grapes on the side of the road during our hike and also stopped to try fresh figs from the tree. Beautiful views, and great history. We had lunch at a locally owned cantina with a view of the Duomo; the food and wine was buonissimo! It was a wonderful way to spend the day and see Civita.

I would strongly recommend this tour to all!!! Riding an e-Bike was loads of fun, but riding it through the Italian countryside and then visiting Bagnoregio was exceptional!!!! Seeing the vineyards, olive and hazelnut orchards, the sunflower fields and stopping by a farm were experiences to enjoy. What an incredible day and GREAT memory!!!

We booked at the last minute and are so glad we did! Beautiful ride through the countryside near Orvieto. The e-bikes were great and easy to use. It was a great way to see Civita di Bagnoregio as we were able to ride right up to the bridge, and walk from there. Our guide was wonderful. He took us to a few special spots off the beaten path. Almost the best part was a beautiful lunch and wine in Orvieto to end the trip! Loved it!
