We unfortunately missed our first tour from oversleeping and rebooked at the exact same price. So ultimately we spent over $1000 USD for this trip. The company refused to offer any deals or compromise for booking twice. Things went bad at the very first stop. At the trail, my wife and I looked at a few sites. Suddenly it became very windy and cold (which is fairly normal for Iceland). My wife asked if we could wait inside the gift shop and keep an eye on where we THOUGHT the tour guide said to meet at. When the meet time came, we didn't see our guide. We went to the parking lot and the bus was gone. Eventually, we got a call from our guide asking where we were. We told him we were exactly where he told us to meet at after the time was up because my wife was too cold. Apparently he was at a parking lot that we never heard about and met us back at the gift shop. When we got back to the bus, he looked at me and my wife like we were stupid. I explained what we thought we heard and he pointed to the rest of the passengers like "Hey, you're the only two idiots.." My wife and I sat in the back and tried to figure out how we both misunderstood him. THANKFULLY, the father and son in front of us from Sweden told us they had no clue what the operator said and just followed everybody else. After that, a couple from New Jersey chimed in and the wife mentioned she thought she heard the operator said to meet at the same place we were waiting but noticed part of the group was headed in the opposite direction. So it was good to know we weren't the only people unclear on where to meet. The couple also asked for clarification at each stop where the meeting point was at so there wasn't any more mistakes, which I greatly appreciated. To our guides defense, it sounded like he was originally from Poland and likely fluent in at least 3 or 4 languages. But unfortunately he has a very heavy accent and was very difficult to understand. I spent the rest of the trip pretty upset about the first stop and the fact that we paid for this trip TWICE and to be talked to like an idiot. Compared to the South Coast trip my wife and I took the day before, this one was also fairly underwhelming. Luckily, the day ends at the Blue Lagoon. That was easily the highlight of the day. My anger and tension melted away and for a few hours I actually forgot I paid twice for a subpar trip. If I had to do it again, I would have done just the Blue Lagoon and saved myself a lot of money.

Unfortunately, my wife and I had troubles adjusting to the time change and missed our trip. My wife was devastated as she had set the alarm and didn't recall turning it off. She has never missed an alarm on her life, so we assume it's because she's currently pregnant. I wanted to move past it but my wife was very distraught and wanted to try and fix the situation. She emailed the company and called them as well. She begged to work some sort of deal or compromise. This company absolutely refused any sort of compromise. No partial refund, no rescheduling, not even a discounted rate to rebook. We admit and own that the failure was on us. But to not offer any kind of compromise? Surely we can't be the only tourists who struggled with time change. Eventually, we accepted that we failed and did rebook the tour at the exact same price a few days later and hoped it would be worth it. It was not.

A full of sightseeing around the island which was very enjoyable and interesting. Ended at the Blue Lagoon for a relaxing couple of hours which was a lovely end to a great day. Anastasia was a very friendly and knowledgeable guide. This is not a cheap trip but on reflection we felt it was worth the money and a great way to see the island

Fantastic day out!! Our guide Thorey told us so much interesting information throughout our tour about the history of Iceland. The Golden Circle was great with a good amount of time at each stop. The Blue Lagoon was amazing! Darri a lifeguard there offered to take a family photo for us. He was friendly and told us some interesting facts about Iceland. Definitely would recommend this tour!

A wonderful full day with Thorey. Loads of history, loads of laughs, loads of miles in between. Kerid crater was very peacefull. Blue lagoon was great. The sun shone brightly for our day, and the lagoon was lovely.

Booked this directly with Nice Travel. Elias our guide was fantastic. He was low key but kept us on track while allowing us to enjoy this tour. The park was breath-taking, the volcano and geyser pretty cool. The Blue Lagoon at the end of the tour was a highlight after a pretty spectacular day so I recommend this particlar tour because of that feature. On another note, I left my swimwear in the bus. Elias tracked me down, despite not knowing my specific hotel, and dropped it off that night after all his drops. I had a trip to the Sky Lagoon planned later that week, in a pretty hectic schedule, was stressing that I would have to go buy new swimwear and swim shoes That level of customer service is exceptional by any standards and we are very thankful to him and Nice Travel for ensuring we had a seamless worry-free experience.

Fantastic value, I highly recommend this tour. A full day of sight seeing, great to see Iceland away from Reykjavik, the scenery is stunning. High point for me was the geysers. Our tour guide told us lots of great anecdotes along the way, made some additional stops of interest. Thoroughly enjoyed the full day trip, have some great memories and photos. ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT!
