The Golden Circle and the Blue Lagoon are the two most popular sights to visit in Iceland. Your first stop is at the Thingvellir National Park, the UNESCO listed World Heritage Site. This is where the American and Eurasian tectonic plates meet, which allows you the unique feeling of having one foot in each world. Next destination is the famous Geysir Hot Spring. Watch Strokkur erupt every few minutes up to 30 meters high. Here you can buy a lunch during the stop. Gullfoss the Golden Waterfall is next and will amaze you with its beauty and raw power. Adding even more, you will visit the Kerid Volcanic Crater before heading off the Blue Lagoon for a relaxing end to a great day.

Laugarvatn
Laugarvatn sits next to a beautiful lake of the same name in a geothermally active area. The plumes of super-heated vapor billowing into the air in this area are used by the locals to bake rye bread in the ground!

5.00Fantastic day trip. We were taken to the National Park, Gullfoss Waterfall, geyser and Kerid Crater. All were excellent, and our guide, Dominica, was friendly, well informed and kept the day moving. Our final stop was the Blue Lagoon, which was brilliant & a perfect way to complete our journey. I would certainly recommend this experience to other travellers. It was worth every penny.

5.00Wonderful tour. The tour guide (Paulo) was wonderful, taking the time to explain about the various sites and suggesting the best experiences. He made it fun along the way with various anecdotes. It was very windy and icy and he drove safely and had crampons for us as we explored the sites. We were also late by a few mts in the morning pickup and he made an extra effort to pick us up and we were grateful.

5.00We’ve just finished the Golden Circle tour with Nice Travel and it genuinely surpassed expectations. Each of the stops were wonderful. The Gullfoss falls are awe inspiring and the Kerid Crater has a silent power. The Blue Lagoon was a great experience - something can so easily be tacky, retains the beauty and presence of the Icelandic surroundings. The tour is quite a small group in a comfortable mini bus. Walter the guide was funny and informative in equal measure. Importantly he had a genuine passion for all things Icelandic and communicated with authentic knowledge and wit. Highly recommended.

5.00Excellent tour, highly recommend! Small group, very comfortable mini bus tour led by excellent tour guide driver WALTER. Pick up a few minutes walk from hotel, friendly, charming but also very knowledgeable information throughout the tour about the landscape and Iceland in general. We contemplated a private hire but really feel fortunate not to have spent an extra 1K USD for two when this felt personal enough, efficient and everything we wanted. The landscapes of the Golden Circle are not to be missed on a visit to Iceland and finishing the day with 2 hours at the Blue Lagoon was magnificent. A truly memorable day that I look forward to doing again next visit here. Wonderfull thank you so much!

5.00Walter was an amazing guide. He was witty, humorous, kind and attentive. There’s no way you could sit through the tour and not laugh. He was knowledgeable and gave us fun facts about Ireland and really did a helluva job representing for his people and country. The tour itself was soooooo worth it!! An experience of a lifetime, my 12 year old son and I loved every bit of it. Highly recommend and if you happen to get Walter as your guide you’re in for a trip! Thank you!
