What To Expect

Hveragerdi

The first stop of the day is the town Hveragerði, where we have a short restroom stop. Hveragerði is about 45 min drive from Reykjavik. There are restrooms, a bakery and an exhibition about earth quakes. Consider this a short pit-stop on our way to the Golden Circle.

Gullfoss

Gullfoss, is one of the most famous waterfalls in Iceland. It is powerful and tall. Through it the river Hvítá, which is a glacier river originating from Langjökull, plunges down this two step waterfall. There are a handful of viewing platforms to observe the waterfall and above Gullfoss there is Gullfoss center where there are restrooms, a cafeteria and gift shops. NOTE: The path leading all the way up to the waterfall is closed during the winter season.

Amazing tour of the South Coast with East West. Our tour guide Carlos was knowledgeable and friendly. The sights were beautiful and lunch stop was great. We even made time for a bonus quick stop at a bakery for cinnamon buns on the way back.

Went on this tour as a couple on a beautiful blue sky day in December. Guide was friendly and informative with lots of personality making the drive go by quickly. Good range of sites and stop offs on this tour. Thingvellir was our favourite though - absolutely stunning landscape and views. Admission fees included in overall price so only thing to pay on day is for any food or drink, plenty of stops for both. Recommend!

Excellent tour really interesting places visited . Our guide Sergio was very informative & all ran to perfect timing . The falls , crater geysers & National park were amazing. We were fortunate with a beautiful sunny day .

Great small group tour! Mr B was good guide, all questions answered, and some stories told. Overall would recommend doing a small group tour, as you save time and don’t have to waste it waiting for 30+ people to get back on the bus

Top top day. We saw some fantastic sights & Andros was a great driver & guide. We hit a blizzard & snowfall late in the day & our driver was not fazed. Felt very safe throughout & an experience we’ll never forget. Minibus was warm & cozy. Highly recommended for all.

Great experience, it was freezing but really clear so we could see for miles. Elisa was our tour guide, she was very knowledgeable and threw in a couple of extra stops. Definitely worth doing if you are short on time and would like to see the main sights, we had a fantastic day.

Not a lot I can add to the many many other reviews on here. We had a great day, great host and a great experience. Everything ran to schedule, saw all the sites and Arctic Adventures/Your Day Tours did a great job. We preferred the small group south coast tour run by them, but that was just because we liked those locations rather than anything else.
