Our guide will come to your hotel in the Old Quarter to pick you up. A short briefing before we start.
Old Quarter
On a 3 hours walking tour, you’ll explore the culture and history of Hanoi as you step into a world full of street food vendors. Unlike big cities all around the world, street food in Hanoi are not just hot dog carts and pretzel stands, we offer an opportunity to try out many different dishes at local food stand as well as local family restaurants. A rotating menu from day-to-day to represent the variety of delicious options, but tastings might include, but are subject to change: rice noodle soup with beef, rice noodle with chicken, rice noodle with grilled pork, snail, or dry noodle, sticky rice, along with various kinds of donut, steamed pancake or Vietnamese sandwiches.

5.00Bob our Tour Guide was excellent, He has an excellent comprehension of English. The places he took us to, and the food he ordered for us was amazing. The explanation of how it’s cooked and what to add to change the flavour. He gave us a brief history on Vietnam which was excellent. Highly recommend Bob as your Tour Guide.

5.00Patrick was an amazing guide, very friendly, knowledgeable and personable with a zest for delicious food, Patrick took us to many hidden gems, emphasis on the hidden, the food sampling were really authentic, so much delicious food I had to finish all of it and enjoyed everything to the fullest. 5.00Bob was a great guide and gave us so much information about food, restaurants, and food culture. All 6 dishes were delicious and all restaurants were local so really felt getting 'an authentic food tour'. Being in a small group of 6 also made the experience! Definitely recommend this food tour. Don't eat beforehand and we didn't need to eat afterwards too! Thanks Bob for putting together the food folder of restaurants and recommendations too. Loved, loved the tour!
