Our guide will come to your hotel in the Old Quarter to pick you up. A short briefing before we start.
Old Quarter
On a 3 hours walking tour, you’ll explore the culture and history of Hanoi as you step into a world full of street food vendors. Unlike big cities all around the world, street food in Hanoi are not just hot dog carts and pretzel stands, we offer an opportunity to try out many different dishes at local food stand as well as local family restaurants. A rotating menu from day-to-day to represent the variety of delicious options, but tastings might include, but are subject to change: rice noodle soup with beef, rice noodle with chicken, rice noodle with grilled pork, snail, or dry noodle, sticky rice, along with various kinds of donut, steamed pancake or Vietnamese sandwiches.

5.00If Bob’s your tour guide, you are in for a great food tour. We were in a group of 5, all different nationalities and backgrounds but Bob managed to bring us all together by introducing us to some amazing foods. He was adamant to share with us foods that aren’t your standard pho, bahn mi or bun cha. My husband and I are foodies- experienced a great variety of food and Bob impressed us with dry pho ga (his mum’s place is top notch) and xoi xiao (sticky rice with mung beans and toppings - delicious!). After the tour, he shared a doc with the names/locations of all the places he took us PLUS additional recommendations which we went to 2 of them (and they were very good!). Bob’s a great communicator, engaging and highly energetic. Do the tour!

5.00We had such a great time with Max during the food tour. He knows so much things about Vietnam and not only about the food! We ate really delicious and traditional dishes. We had plenty to eat and discovered some amazing spot in the Old Quarter. We recommand it! We also appreciated to be in small group and exchange with others about our experience.

5.00Great experience with Bob as our tourguide. Great food and Bob tailored the restaurants to our preferences. Afterwards we also received a list with an overview of where we went and other places to go to. All in all great experience, would highly recommend!

5.00It was our first full day in Hanoi. This was a great tour to experience the old quarter and eat some great food. Mai was our guide and she was fantastic. Come to the tour hungry because you will have plenty to eat!
