We are so happy that we took this tour. Bob was an amazing guide and he knew the city so well. He is from Hanoi and we felt we had a truly local experience. Even after the tour, he sent us a list of restaurants/foods that we should go to that we didn’t have time to visit. We felt that we learned a lot about Hanoi and we got to explore the many local food options we may have never known about. We could not recommend this enough and you’ll be lucky if you have Bob as your guide

This food walking tour was so much fun. Bob, a local to the area, was the guide and we visited several different restaurants in the area. Go to this tour on a empty stomach as there was so much to enjoy 😊

We had a tour guide named Bobby and he was fantastic. Gave us the ins and outs of the city, food was delicious, he sent us a list of places afterwards. He was very accommodating, got us well more than enough food and was flexible with our choices. Very good value! Thanks Bobby.

It was a lovely way to spend an eve walking old quarter back lanes, learning about some Viet history, traditional food items and dine w/ 4 strangers - all led by Bob, our local foodie guide for the eve - who did an excellent job, answering all questions, customizing orders and food stops based on our input ... For me wobbly/soggy rice rolls (b'fast item) and dry (soup less) Pho / pha in little bit of fish sauce, @Bob's mother's eatery were the highlights for me!! Be prepared to eat well, overlook ambience, watch your head, be willing to sweat and test your plastic stool before sitting (mine broke and had me on my back :-) ... all said n done I would walk those lanes w/ Bob again and I'm sure he will pick out different yet equally tasty stops for me ... but this time I would book directly to save 50% !!

We had a great time with Bob! The food was delicious and he was very accommodating of my nut allergy. He also sprinkled in some history along the way which our group really liked. Highly recommend!!
