Our guide will come to your hotel in the Old Quarter to pick you up. A short briefing before we start.
Old Quarter
On a 3 hours walking tour, you’ll explore the culture and history of Hanoi as you step into a world full of street food vendors. Unlike big cities all around the world, street food in Hanoi are not just hot dog carts and pretzel stands, we offer an opportunity to try out many different dishes at local food stand as well as local family restaurants. A rotating menu from day-to-day to represent the variety of delicious options, but tastings might include, but are subject to change: rice noodle soup with beef, rice noodle with chicken, rice noodle with grilled pork, snail, or dry noodle, sticky rice, along with various kinds of donut, steamed pancake or Vietnamese sandwiches.

5.00Nick was our tour guide and he was very knowledgeable and took us to great spots. He explained how to eat at each spot and showed us how to make each dish better with the ingredients at the table. He was great and there was a ton of food. Lots of different and local spots. Highly recommend.

5.00Bob was such a wonderful guide!! We were only in Hanoi for a day and he helped us make the most of it. We learned so much about Hanoi culture and he was so accommodating to both dietary restrictions and everything we wanted to try. He also gave us a whole list of his personal recommendations! Such a funny, witty, amazing guide. I highly recommend this tour to anybody!

5.00Chi was a wonderful host who introduced us to many new and unique spots around Hanoi! She was very personable and it felt as if we were out with a friend. She also sent us all of the locations we visited and food we ate so that we could visit them again later on in our trip. This was a great tour! Make sure that you come hungry!

5.00A food tour is the best way to dive into Hanoi’s food scene. The guide took us to places where locals eat, explained the different foods, and gave us tips on how and where to eat around the Old Quarter. Portions are shared with the group so they are not the full portions that you would normally get but they are enough to be able to taste and experience eating like a local.
