Our guide will come to your hotel in the Old Quarter to pick you up. A short briefing before we start.
Old Quarter
On a 3 hours walking tour, you’ll explore the culture and history of Hanoi as you step into a world full of street food vendors. Unlike big cities all around the world, street food in Hanoi are not just hot dog carts and pretzel stands, we offer an opportunity to try out many different dishes at local food stand as well as local family restaurants. A rotating menu from day-to-day to represent the variety of delicious options, but tastings might include, but are subject to change: rice noodle soup with beef, rice noodle with chicken, rice noodle with grilled pork, snail, or dry noodle, sticky rice, along with various kinds of donut, steamed pancake or Vietnamese sandwiches.

5.00Bob shared great stories as well as some history and culture. He sent me group photos he took. After leaving, he sent me info on train schedule and other resturants to visit.

5.00This was a fun experience that took me and my husband through a bit of the Old Quarter in Hanoi and gave us an intro to some of the many food options during our trip. There were nonalcoholic and non-caffeine drinks options for my husband throughout the tour. Our tour guide Ricky was great! We even got a little lost trying to find the meetup location and he didn’t start the tour without us. The food was wonderful and the egg coffee towards the end was the best!

5.00I had a really fun and yummy tour with Mr. Bob and the group! Met some interesting people and had great conversations and delicious foods along the way. My favorite dish was the sticky rice with braised pork and pate. We ate 5+ dishes including local dessert. It was a lot of food but there was also a lot of walking and cultural learnings at each stop. Mr. Bob was a masterful storyteller and so funny - you are bound for a good time should you take this tour with him!

5.00My wife and I had a wonderful time with Chi. She was very thoughtful, friendly and a great tour guide, and was very mindful to give us a great spread of dishes to enjoy. Would recommend this to anyone wanting to experience Vietnamese cuisine in a nutshell!
