Old Quarter
On a 3 hours walking tour, you’ll explore the culture and history of Hanoi as you step into a world full of street food vendors. Unlike big cities all around the world, street food in Hanoi are not just hot dog carts and pretzel stands, we offer an opportunity to try out many different dishes at local food stand as well as local family restaurants. A rotating menu from day-to-day to represent the variety of delicious options, but tastings might include, but are subject to change: rice noodle soup with beef, rice noodle with chicken, rice noodle with grilled pork, snail, or dry noodle, sticky rice, along with various kinds of donut, steamed pancake or Vietnamese sandwiches.

5.00The street for tour with Minh was brilliant. Three of us in the group, so we got lots of attention, information and delicious food. We were taken to some amazing little cafes, markets and food stalls, some on the streets and laneways, some down little alleys and secret corridors. The food was incredibly delicious and there was plenty of it; it was great value for money! I really enjoyed learning about some of the traditional dishes we enjoyed and the culture and history of Hanoi and Vietnam. Most tourists would not know where to go or what to order when they found a place. Minh’s passion for and knowledge of food was fantastic! This experience is a must for anyone who enjoys great food, as well as some really interesting things about Hanoi! Thanks!

5.00Our food tour with Chi was so much fun! We joined three other people on the tour (a group of friends on holiday together) and it was so nice to share the experience with fellow tourists. Chi took us to her favourite spots and each one was delicious. It was so special to be shown around Hanoi Old Town by a local. Chi was a delight. An authentic experience that we will always remember. Highly recommend!

5.00We had such a fun time on this food tour! Veit and Viola were both so nice and welcoming and we had a wonderful time trying all the different foods and chatting with our group! We loved learning all about the dishes and the best part was trying things that we normally wouldn’t have known about or how to enjoy it the way it’s meant to be enjoyed. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

5.00We had an amazing Vietnamese food tour today with Chi, and we couldn't have asked for a better guide! Chi is incredibly knowledgeable about Vietnamese food, culture, and local history. She explained everything clearly and made the experience both interesting and enjoyable. Her friendly personality, great sense of humor, and enthusiasm made us feel comfortable from the very beginning. We had the opportunity to try many delicious local dishes that we probably would never have discovered on our own. 4.00Great 6 stops, noodle soup, skewers, train street for a drink, rice flour pancake wraps, Bahn Mi tasting and finally sticky rice with mango and ice cream. Walking distances were good only thing is some of the places didn’t have seating so you have to stand. Bottle of water provided. Our tour guide Ricky was great, really Friendly and looked out for everyone on the roads. Lots of information to share about the food.

Bob was a great host, very helpful, dynamic, and very committed to the experience of food in Vietnam. Very happy with the places I visited that have a great history in Vietnamese food.
