We had such a great time with Min on this tour. He picked us up promptly from our hotel and we were surprised to find that the tour was just my husband and I! We went to several different street food stalls around the Old Quarter, he would ask us questions to get a feel for what we liked then take us places based on that, always making sure it was something we hadn’t tried before. I really liked how he took us to places that were truly hole-in-the-wall local joints, that we never would have tried on our own. In addition, Min was incredibly knowledgeable not just about all of the food but about the neighborhood as well and gave us a lot of insight into Vietnamese culture. We had a wonderful time and would highly recommend!

We had a wonderful experience and loved our tour with Mai! The food was delicious and Mai took the time to teach us about Vietnamese culture in addition to the food. 10/10 recommend.

Lucky was a great tour guide - gave us lots of interesting information, kept us safe with the traffic. Good choices for where we ate and drank. He was also flexible. One of the couples on the tour mentioned about the local Hanoi Beer and the green glasses made from recycled glass. So we were able to experience that as well. One word of advice- go hungry, you will be eating a lot of delicious food.

I did the food tour with a friend, and we tried lots of new food. Everything was delicious, and we discovered many new favorites. Big thanks to Max, our tour guide, and his assistants for making it such an unforgettable tour. Highly recommended!

Minh was a good host. He clearly knows the nooks, crannys and alleys of the Old Quarter of Hanoi very well. Some surprisingly hidden away eating places in the back streets that ensured we weren’t competing for tables. He was very considerate of us all and solicitous of us when navigating across the squadrons of kamikaze motor cyclists that overrun the streets.

Our tour guide Bobby brought us on an excellent walking food tour of Hanoi’s Old Quarter area. Our small group stopped at a total of six locations with various local dishes to try during the approximately ~3.5hr experience. Bobby introduced the dishes and showed us how to eat some of them which was super helpful! Having his local expertise was delightful and made exploring the city incredibly easy. He also sent the locations and dish names to us after the tour concluded with was super helpful so we did not need to take notes during the tour!

Had a great food tour with Pete! He showed up to get us from our hotel which was great addition since walking around in Old Quarter can get confusing. He catered the picks to things we wanted to try and took us to some of his favorite spots! It was great! I would recommend this tour for anyone wanting to try the local food and getting to chat with a local was a huge plus!

Nộm bò khô Long Vi Dung - Dried beef salad - Hồ Hoàn Kiếm street 2. Nem Nướng Nha Trang Quế Hoa – Grilled Pork Sausage Summer Rolls – Hồ Hoàn Kiếm Street 3. Bún Chả – Grilled Pork with Noodles – 46 Nguyễn Hữu Huân 4. Xôi xéo Yến- Sticky rice with mung bean - 35b Nguyễn Hữu Huân 5. Bánh Mỳ Như Hoa - Vietnamese baguette - 62 Nguyễn Hữu Huân 6. Cafe Trứng Giảng - Giảng egg Cafe - 39 Nguyễn Hữu Huân 7. Chè Dung – Sweet Dessert Soup – 95 Hàng Bạc Hope you enjoyed the tour and all the flavors of Hanoi! Don’t hesitate to text me if you’d like more travel recommendations while you’re still in Vietnam — the tour might be over, but I’m still here for you! From Ian H - Brisbane Australia

It was a very enjoyable food tour of Hanoi’s old quarter from a local. Our tour guide Bob was wonderful. We had iconic Hanoi street food from places a local would go.
