Our guide will come to your hotel in the Old Quarter to pick you up. A short briefing before we start.
Old Quarter
On a 3 hours walking tour, you’ll explore the culture and history of Hanoi as you step into a world full of street food vendors. Unlike big cities all around the world, street food in Hanoi are not just hot dog carts and pretzel stands, we offer an opportunity to try out many different dishes at local food stand as well as local family restaurants. A rotating menu from day-to-day to represent the variety of delicious options, but tastings might include, but are subject to change: rice noodle soup with beef, rice noodle with chicken, rice noodle with grilled pork, snail, or dry noodle, sticky rice, along with various kinds of donut, steamed pancake or Vietnamese sandwiches.

5.00Bob was absolutely fantastic. He was so hospitable and caring to all the members of the group. Bob was so knowledgeable and articulate about Hanoi and its history. He also had some wonderful stories that he shared about his growing up in Vietnam. He was passionate about his town and the beautiful people and food which made us appreciate and love Hanoi too. Our experience with Bob made us wish we could stay longer. An excellent experience. We would highly recommend Bob to anyone visiting Hanoi. Simply the best!

5.00I spent way too much time comparing street food tours before booking and definitely feel like I made the right choice. Bob took us to some excellent places, provided great history and insight, and was a fun host. It seemed like everyone in the Old Quarter knew him. I highly recommend doing this your first day/night. The street food scene can be very overwhelming for a westerner. Bob not only gives you the lay of the land, he sends you pictures from your tour and a detailed list of recommendations of where to eat for the rest of your stay. Thanks so much, Bob!
