What To Expect
Join us for an unforgettable walking tour that begins in the heart of historic Bergen. We meet at the iconic Bryggen – a UNESCO World Heritage site – and delve into its rich Hanseatic history before making our way through the charming neighbourhood of Fjellsiden. Along the way, you’ll discover local stories, hidden gems, and spectacular views. We then begin our invigorating hike up Mt. Fløyen, taking a scenic route away from the crowds. At the top, soak in panoramic views of Bergen and the surrounding fjords – a perfect reward for your efforts. We will also go for a short walk in the forest, showing a favourite secret viewpoint. The adventure continues with funicular ride back down. We limit our group size to 8 participants to ensure we don't feel too crowded while out in nature. You'll be joined by an expert local guide who will talk about nature, hiking culture, and all things Norway.

5.00This morning, we walked up to the top of Mt. Floyen with Silke and had a terrific time. Silke is another “I Love Bergen” marvel. Well-informed, passionate, thoughtful and a joy to be with. The walk is all uphill but very manageable and the hike flew by with Silke’s running commentary. We took the funicular down (included in the tour price) but the walk up was well worth the time! Highly recommend this way to see the city!

5.00It was a great experience to know the city, not being heard around with a big group. It was a great hike to learn the history and culture of the city which should be the purpose of traveling. Highly recommended. I also reserved the restaurant for lunch. After the terrific lunch I took the funicular down, perfect day !

5.00We had Erik as our guide. Born and raised in Bergen, 28 years old and speaking very good English. Very enthusiastic connoisseur and narrator of history, facts and present. Definitely worth it! This private tour is for 8 people but we were only the 4 of us. Totally awesome.
