Leaving from Holyhead port, spend the afternoon with us, taking in the stunning scenery and unique history of this fabulous island. You will learn about welsh culture and how to say Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch !
Learn about the history of the island, from 5500 year old burial chambers to the impressive Beaumaris castle. Lots of excellent photo opportunities along the way, including the Menai Straits and the stunning cliffs at South Stack. With a maximum of 8 guests, we can ensure the personal touch and doubtless share a few laughs on the way. We guarantee to get you back to Holyhead in time for your cruise. The last 2 stops are near Holyhead and can be adjusted to fit the remaining time. We aim to be back at least 30 minutes before the last shuttle bus.

Have a relaxing morning onboard your ship or take in the town of Holyhead before our 1.00 pick up time. We start with a scenic drive across Anglesey to the train station with a very long name! Learn about the Welsh language and have a go at saying Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch
Menai Suspension Bridge
Take in the stunning views of the Menai Straits. Backed by the majestic mountains of Snowdonia, our viewpoint allows you to see the 198 year old Menai Suspension Bridge spanning the fast flowing waters of the straits.

5.00We had a great afternoon with Trevor. He is a great guide and storyteller. We saw some unique sites and even had an unexpected flyby from the Red Arrows. Highly recommend this small group tour.

5.00We took two separate tours with Trevor, and would highly recommend him! The tour was informative, interesting, and enjoyable. The van is very comfortable, and we could hear Trevor clearly and easily through the van's speakers. Trevor and his wife Lori (who was our driver) are absolutely delightful people, and went out of their way to make our tour special. (In fact, when it was just us left in the van, after the others had been dropped off at the cruise port, our conversation inspired him to add another stop that he knew would interest us! He was absolutely right!) He kept us all entertained, and answered all of our questions. I highly recommend Tudno Tours to anyone staying in the area, or visiting for the day.

5.00The tour was exceptional. The tour guide was really knowledgeable, and we went to places that the big tour buses can’t get to; for example, lighthouse up a windy road in Holyhead. Had plenty of time for shopping with ideas of where to go. Highly recommended.

5.00Trevor was a wonderful tour guide! He was punctual, and so accommodating by picking us up in the morning at the cruise ship port, dropping us in Llanfairpwllgwyngyll for lunch, then picking us up again for the afternoon tour, before dropping us back at our cruise ship. He was knowledgeable about the area with interesting stories. The small group was definitely a plus as it gave flexibility with our time spent at the various sites. No long lines boarding and disembarking from the van.

5.00We booked both the morning and afternoon half day tours with Tudno tours and would highly recommend to get a better experience in Wales the day was full of sites with nice breaks for snacks and lunch.
