Vineyards were cute and fun to visit. Pickup was on time and efficient. The shimmering vodka place at the end felt oddly bolted on and kind of tacky? But the wine part of the day was fab

Chris did a great job driving us and the bus was very comfortable and we had the access to USB ports so we could charge our phones. Loved the wineries and the vegetarian lunch was good and loved the cheeses that were offered.

Interesting choice of venues, not all were wineries. So if you are a wine-buff this may not be the trip for you. The the lunch venue was lovely, but better known for its beer (which was superb) and the distillery we visited was a spirit-adventure. For me the jewel in the crown was the Iron Gate Estate. The gentleman that presented the wines was fantastic and gave a superb insight into the wines produced and the challenges that present. A very interesting tour.

We really enjoyed the Hunter Valley Wine tour. The first winery, Iron Gate, was superb. We also had a chocolate/wine pairing, lunch (which was quite good), then a cheese/wine pairing. At the end we went to a small Vodka place for a tasting there as well. Chris was an excellent driver and guide. The vehicle was very nice and clean.

Well planned and organised visit to three different vineries, representative for Hunter Valley. Good for people interested to get to know some wine basics of the region, more knowledgeable wine lovers may find it too general, but still, the wines are decent and winemakers were super friendly and open to answer questions. Great idea of two pairings, with chocolates and with cheeses. Final visit to a distillery can be skipped unless you are into coloured, sweet liqueurs and weird gins. Driver-cum-guide Michael did a great job, very informative, friendly, keeping good balance between jokes, fun facts and interesting stories about the city.

A scenic drive out of Sydney…….well worth the time. Felt like family visiting the local wineries. Our lunch was delicious and the local wines a real treat.
