We really enjoyed the Hunter Valley Wine tour. The first winery, Iron Gate, was superb. We also had a chocolate/wine pairing, lunch (which was quite good), then a cheese/wine pairing. At the end we went to a small Vodka place for a tasting there as well. Chris was an excellent driver and guide. The vehicle was very nice and clean.

Well planned and organised visit to three different vineries, representative for Hunter Valley. Good for people interested to get to know some wine basics of the region, more knowledgeable wine lovers may find it too general, but still, the wines are decent and winemakers were super friendly and open to answer questions. Great idea of two pairings, with chocolates and with cheeses. Final visit to a distillery can be skipped unless you are into coloured, sweet liqueurs and weird gins. Driver-cum-guide Michael did a great job, very informative, friendly, keeping good balance between jokes, fun facts and interesting stories about the city.

A scenic drive out of Sydney…….well worth the time. Felt like family visiting the local wineries. Our lunch was delicious and the local wines a real treat.

The bus is extremely small and uncomfortable. 3 hours to get the first stop and unfortunately the ride unbearable. The more you drink the easier it gets. The wine tour at the first stop was lack luster we go to Learn enjoy wine and have fun and unfortunately the host ran it like a military ceremony instead of an experience. I would highly recommend choosing a hose to is joyful and excited. The second stop was definitely my favorite stop It provided the exact experience that I expected. This was the chocolate and wine stop. The inside was beautiful, and she walked us through each type of chocolate in the wine that it was paired from. She was very friendly and happy and gave us time that kept us busy well winedrated 😆 The wine and cheeses at the last stop the cheeses were good and the crackers were great. It’s just the presentation overall needed work. I mean we set at this table filled with Legos to play with I guess, but then the cheeses were already prepackaged. I expect more of a charcuterie board like a real wine experience. Overall, the experience needs some work! Getting better transportation vehicle that fits the guest comfortably to enjoy the ride Improve the wine experience stops. P.S Unless you’re 5 foot 1 and shorter, you will not be comfortable in those seats

Driver (Miko) was great The first winery irongate was amazing. Also the lunch was very good. The other three tasting experiences were disappointing. These three tasting experiences were for individuals that don’t know good wines from bad.

We were taken to 3 different wineries and one distillery , one of which we had a nice lunch. The first winery , we found that we did not get much wine to taste, but all the others were fine. Our tour driver Micheal was simply amazing! He knew we were from Canada and never saw kangaroos in the wild and even took the time to bring us to see some where he knew they probably would be some there , and there were! Others asked if he could stop along the vineyards to take pictures , and he also accommodated them! We remained on time as well. My wife wanted to go much more than i did but now that i have returned i am so glad we went. Micheal even dropped us off at our hotel to save us some walking ! Thank you so much !
