Relatively easy tour. In the caves it was wet in April with some puddles - sturdy and dense footwear recommended. Spikes and a helmet were provided by the guide and were very helpful. We were on the road for a good 2 hours and had plenty of time to photograph. The guide adapted to our pace, put a lot of effort into the photos and was helpful. Since we were very fast, we looked at more caves.

INCREDIBLE, felt like being in space, and the guide was great, wish we had done an even longer tour.

Amazing tour! Amazing tour guide Alex, who even included awesome pictures which he took from us. Also very good guide with kids. All off the approximately 199 questions were patiently answered. We went with kids and grandparents and highly recommend the tour! Thanks again!

The ice changes every year. So you are not going to a place that looks like these photos at alll (at least for 2026). The guide was great, but the first thing they tell you when you get to the ice and you won’t see any large caves like you see in their photos of the tour. So they are well aware it is misrepresented. I’ve never been on a trip through Viator that has had such misleading photos/expectations given. That being said, I still would have gone to see the small ice caves that are there. Just not a fan of the misrepresentation. If the photo were accurate it would have been 5/5 stars.

You can only access the glacier with a certified operator, so this was our option to go. The drive was fascinating in itself and it was fun to see the ice caves. It would have been nice with a little more info and tour guiding

We had a very nice tour with our guide Alex. It is not one big cave, but a couple of smaler ones, which was nevertheless amazing. There are a whole lot of companies doing the exact same tour. - I loved "Glacier Trips" because they're only doing small groups. We were 10, which was perfect! Thanks again for the great experience!

Our tour guide was so fun and knowledgeable. We were lucky it was good weather and less crowded. He was very adamant to make sure everyone gets a turn in each area and not one person hogging it for pictures. Everyone had reasonable timing for each section to admire and take photos. Spikes for the shoes were provided and the ride to the glacier wasn’t long

The ice cave tour was a great adventure and the experience of the holiday. It will be difficult to forget the power and impact of being in the ice and the colour of the light through the 1000 year old ice. We didnt expect the bone shaking trip out to the ice, but the children in the car with us we laughing all the way in the impromtu rollercoaster. Will do if again if we get back to the region.

Passionate guide who shares his knowledge of glaciers, Do not expect to visit a cave but cavities, which does not detract from the moment or the magic of the glacier. Small bonus back, local music 😊

While it says this is a small group tour (there were 16 people in our group), we ended up at the caves with many other groups from other companies. The problem is that there was a lot of standing and waiting instead of exploring. The wind on the glacier is very cold and while the guide was interesting, the majority of our time was spent standing still and listening to him. It’s cold when you aren’t moving and most of the caves were no longer caves, just some holes. We explored about 10 minutes of the 2.5 hours. While it was cool to see, I would not go again due to all the down time standing.
