kangaroo island Admiral Arch
Admirals Arch is one of Kangaroo Island's most impressive and unusual natural landmarks. It took thousands of years of erosion to create this distinctive rock bridge near the Cape du Couedic Lighthouse on the island's southwest coast. The boardwalk leading to the Admirals Arch is nearly as scenic as the landmark itself.

We have just concluded our two-day "The Best of Kangaroo Island" tour and we couldn't be more excited. We would like to thank the agency very much for the impeccable organization, but above all to give special praise to our guide, Mia. Mia was the true soul of this experience, exceeding all expectations both from a professional and human point of view. Professionalism and Preparation: Mia is incredibly knowledgeable about every aspect of Kangaroo Island. He drove for hours and hours with great skill and confidence, taking us to every corner of the island. His explanations, enriched with interesting anecdotes and details, made every stop and every landscape even more special. Despite fatigue from long days, he maintained constant attention and dedication. 🐨 An Exceptional Natural Paradise Kangaroo Island is itself a unique place in the world, and the tour allowed us to fully experience its incredible biodiversity. We were lucky enough to see virtually all kinds of wildlife on the island: from koalas to wallabies, from kangaroos to rare bandicoots. Not to mention the fantastic colonies of seals and sea lions that populate the coasts. The wonderful landscapes were the background of this adventure, making it a truly exceptional naturalistic and emotional experience and absolutely worth recommending! Outstanding Human Qualities: What impressed us most in Mia was her extraordinary humanity, a rare quality to find in this industry. She was kind, attentive, caring and always smiling. She had a thousand attentions for us: she accompanied us to the ferry on the way back and even stopped at the supermarket to allow us to buy something to eat for the journey. A gesture of the heart that shows how much he cares about his guests. In summary: If you are looking for an excellent experience on Kangaroo Island, choose this tour and if possible ask for Mia. His professional excellence combined with his exquisite person have turned a simple tour into a precious and unforgettable memory. Thank you, Mia! You were excellent.

We had a great time seeing so many sights and animals on Kangaroo Island. Our guide Nikki was all we could have asked for! She took really great care of us. I don't think it's possible to do Kangaroo Island in less time and it's worth the splurge getting a knowledgeable guide who can help you spot hard to see koalas and know where there will be kangaroos. If you want to experience all that Kangaroo Island has to offer, I recommend taking this tour.

I attended two daily excursions in Italian on Kangaroo Island and it was a fantastic experience. We toured the whole island, saw Kangaroos, koalas, Sea Lions and all the main points of interest. The local guide Luca, is very prepared and nice and it was very pleasant to spend two days. I highly recommend taking part in these tours instead of renting a car and getting around the island on your own because most of the roads are dirt and rough and you would not have time to see everything. The vehicles used on these tours are all 4x4 and the guides know the local roads very well. Arriving by car from Adelaide there is a risk of not taking the ferry due to bad weather.

There are sealed roads, but also bone-jarring dirt roads which have not been maintained well. This was explained as being due to the current drought. Apart from that the experience was wonderful - great views and wildlife and best of all was the detailed explanation from our very experienced, very helpful and always cheerful guide Nikki Redman. She is a force of nature in her own right, having grown up on the island. She is passionate about the environment and knows it backward.

Our guide was Nikki and she worked hard to find places where we were likely to find the wildlife of interest with emphasis on safety for us, the wildlife and the environment. We were fortunate to not only see plenty of kangaroos and koalas in the summer—the cooler months are easier to find them out and about--but we saw sea eagles and a rare glossy black Cockatoo. Nikki is extremely knowledgeable and experienced on the species’, history of the island, environmental concerns, and current conditions, while creating a fun and jovial atmosphere. Both days of the lunches were great and the afternoon cookies and coffee were a nice treat. We all had to search for the recipe to make them at home. If you don’t want to risk waiting for a delayed flight picking up additional passengers for one or both of your days, book a private tour.

Beautiful tour and Luca is a great guide but also a travel companion! Everything organized to perfection, discovering little-known and breathtaking corners of KI. If you don't book with him then don't complain! Tom&Mica
