The Mekong Delta is the southernmost region of Vietnam. It is often referred to as the rice bowl of Vietnam as it produces three harvests per year. The fertile Mekong Delta is also famous for its tropical fruits and flowers. The delta area marks the end of a 4,500km journey made by the Mekong River after having traveled through six countries. Mỹ Tho is one of the biggest cities in the Mekong Delta, dotted with serene Buddhist pagodas and surrounded by dense rivers. Many great destinations for visitors have been established by the local government and private companies, serving thousands of tourists every day. We recommend this tour for those who want to get an overview of the Mekong Delta for a few delightful hours.

What To Expect
Pick-up Time: between 8:00a.m. - 08:30a.m. at hotels located in District 1; and drive 1,5 hours to the Mekong River. We will stop along the way for refreshments and toilet.

2.00I would say Mekong river is nice, however the trip is not as good. - For pickup from hotel, the car supposed to arrive between 8am - 8:30am, the car comes around 9am. There is no late message from driver or guider in advance. - About the car, this is old car, making noice from bottom when moving slowly on street. The noice makes people sick, feel like throw up. - Stop extra places for shoppings, it stops many places for buying local goods. It might be good for someone, but not people coming for sceneries.

5.00What a fun filled day ! The 8 hour tour felt more like a few days because we saw and did everything from enjoying traditional music, making coconut candy and sampling snake infused rice wine. The small group made it easier to fully enjoy every second. Our tour guide James was the absolute best. He is friendly, helpful, very knowledgeable about all things Vietnam and speaks fantastic English. I will definitely book via Asiana Link Travel again.
