The Mekong Delta is the southernmost region of Vietnam. It is often referred to as the rice bowl of Vietnam as it produces three harvests per year. The fertile Mekong Delta is also famous for its tropical fruits and flowers. The delta area marks the end of a 4,500km journey made by the Mekong River after having traveled through six countries. Mỹ Tho is one of the biggest cities in the Mekong Delta, dotted with serene Buddhist pagodas and surrounded by dense rivers. Many great destinations for visitors have been established by the local government and private companies, serving thousands of tourists every day. We recommend this tour for those who want to get an overview of the Mekong Delta for a few delightful hours.

What To Expect
Pick-up Time: between 8:00a.m. - 08:30a.m. at hotels located in District 1; and drive 1,5 hours to the Mekong River. We will stop along the way for refreshments and toilet.

5.00Anthony was PRICELESS! From picking us up at our hotel, to bringing us back… he was interesting, informative, attentive, kind and entertaining! Despite traffic, our driver was a PRO! This was the most amazing experience EVER! We took a break on the way at a beautiful garden. We boarded our first boat, one of 3 types, and headed to the opposite shore… learned about making Coconut Candy… ate and bought some. We sampled Rice Wine, and bought Alligator and Python belts, and wooden carvings. Then we rode in something similar to a Tuk Tuk, Anthony told us the name, he told us so much…can’t remember it all! He also captured great pictures of us! We arrived at our table, had a spectacular lunch, and rode another boat to our next destination… fine tea and a SURPRISE! After our last, most serene boating 🛶 we ate fruits while listening to beautiful people sing songs about their history! The trip ended with a fresh coconut drink and a cold towel! We now have a new friend… and the BEST experience we ever had! We can’t recommend this company enough!

5.00Our family of 4 spent 2 days with Hung experiencing the Cu Chi Tunnels and the Mekong Delta and a City tour with Joey. both tour guides are professional and I highly recommend Asiana Link Travel for your visit to Vietnam. Hung was entertaining and had great humour and even kept the teenagers entertained for the full day tours! We will return and be using this service again.

5.00This day trip to the Mekong Delta was fun, informative, educational, and rich in local culture. The experience was brought to life by our excellent guide Luan (Ethan) who looked after us very well and helped to make this a memorable day. The sampan ride guided by a local lady who paddled us gently along the tree lined river channel was probably the highlight.
