The Mekong Delta is the southernmost region of Vietnam. It is often referred to as the rice bowl of Vietnam as it produces three harvests per year. The fertile Mekong Delta is also famous for its tropical fruits and flowers. The delta area marks the end of a 4,500km journey made by the Mekong River after having traveled through six countries. Mỹ Tho is one of the biggest cities in the Mekong Delta, dotted with serene Buddhist pagodas and surrounded by dense rivers. Many great destinations for visitors have been established by the local government and private companies, serving thousands of tourists every day. We recommend this tour for those who want to get an overview of the Mekong Delta for a few delightful hours.

What To Expect
Pick-up Time: between 8:00a.m. - 08:30a.m. at hotels located in District 1; and drive 1,5 hours to the Mekong River. We will stop along the way for refreshments and toilet.

4.00James, the guide, was great. The tour wasn't exactly what I expected - didn't feel "authentic" but rather a series of opportunities to buy things deemed local products like snake wine and honey. I enjoyed the boat rides and lunch. Also the pickup of all the various guests took almost an hour, not sure the route was the most efficient. I'd probably opt for the speedboat option from HCM rather than sitting in traffic for 2 hours and picking up people for 1 hour.
