We also proudly take claim for the World’s Cheapest Michelin 1-Star Restaurant! Aimed to satiate discerning taste buds, this tour is a definite must for all foodies! On this 3-hour guided tour, you'll explore the Telok Ayer and Chinatown neighbourhoods and sample local favourites served by humble hawker vendors, heritage brands and household names each backed with an amazing culinary story. Our guides will even take you to sample the world-famous Michelin star hawker - Soya Sauce Chicken Rice. without having to survive a queue! The entire tour will take about 3 hours, depending on group size, walking speed and weather conditions, covering approximately 3km.

5.00This tour was well worth it. The amoumt of history that comes along with the food tastings provided by our tour guide swee lin was nothing less than exceptional. Her wealth of knowledge about asian culture and heritage and the stories she told with the food really gave us a strong raw experience of singapore itself. We are so glad we did this tour on our first morning in singapore so we experienced the best places to eat. Our hotel was in china town itself so it was all really close and walking distance. Thankyou swee lin and christine for a true experience. Nice way to meet other travellers also we had a great bunch doing our tour and made some future friend connection.

5.00Sweelin was an outstanding host. Not only did she give us a great insight into the history of Singapore, she was also incredibly knowledgeable about the history of its many cuisines. Being able to go to the front of the line at one of Singapore’s most famous hawker stalls was excellent, and all of the food choices were amazing. I would highly recommend this tour, and especially Sweelin as a guide.

5.00Big Jon’s Michelin hawker food tour was amazing!!! We got to try all of the local recommendations and skip the long queues. Tables were pre prepared for us and all of food was so tasty. We are Chinese American and this was some of the best Asian food we’ve ever tasted. We also thoroughly enjoyed learning about the history of hawker stands and Singapore. Very worth your money and time! Highly recommend!
