Singapore is a melting pot of flavours and on this food-focused walking tour, you can sample a variety of delicious dishes from the multi-cultural community of Singapore (Chinese, Malay, Indian and Peranakan) and explore the ethnically diverse neighbourhoods of Chinatown.

Yes, we are world-famous for our food – Asian, Western, traditional, contemporary fusion and more. In fact, our distinctive hawker culture is a microcosm reflecting Singapore’s multicultural society. We also proudly take claim for the World’s Cheapest Michelin 1-Star Restaurant! Aimed to satiate discerning taste buds, this tour is a definite must for all foodies! On this 3-hour guided tour, you'll explore the Telok Ayer and Chinatown neighbourhoods and sample local favourites served by humble hawker vendors, heritage brands and household names each backed with an amazing culinary story. Our guides will even take you to sample the world-famous Michelin star hawker - Soya Sauce Chicken Rice. without having to survive a queue! The entire tour will take about 3 hours, depending on group size, walking speed and weather conditions, covering approximately 3km.

Tour was very interesting and informative. Would have appreciated more chances to take on fluids in the heat, we werent able to get drinks until the final stop. Food was interesting, but would happily have paid more to get higher quality food. I understand the authenticity, but as it is advertised as Michelin tour, higher quality would have been expected. We did think it was cheap when we booked.

Really enjoyed my food tour with Marcus today. Tried many different foods and drinks and also learnt about the history of Singapore. Visit to temple was excellent too. Tip.. don’t eat before you go, plenty to eat throughout the morning.

Excellent food and culture tour of Chinatown led by Marcus. We appreciated the food tastings being broken up with visits to cultural highlights and explanations of the neighborhood. Food was explained to us and then we could take photos of the stalls. We also learned the etiquette of the Hawker market. All around good time.

Excellent experience. All the food we tried was delicious and a great mix of different things to try. Marcus gave lots of interesting information about both the food and life in Singapore. We highly recommend this tour and a great thing to do early in your trip, so you know where to go for the rest of your trip.
