Heng did an outstanding job. He went out of his way to make the tour as best as it could be. The tour was well worth it with the curated top foods of the hawker market with no waiting (thanks Megan for going ahead to order all the food ahead of time)! Heng also provided excellent insight into Singapore history and culture. We would recommend this tour to everyone.

We went on this tour on recommendation from our god-daughter who visited Singapore on her honeymoon last year. We're so pleased that we did because it was brilliant. We were met by Swee Linn who showed us around the area taking us to the Hawker Food halls where we sampled a range of beautifully prepared and tasty dishes. The hawkers are clearly proud of the food they produce and many of the businesses have been passed down through families. Swee Linn also told us a lot about Singapore and its history and the impact that this has had on its cuisine. She's very passionate about the tour and this shines through. Funnily, when we got back home we discovered that our god-daughter had also had Swee Linn as her tour guide last year. I'd recommend this tour to anyone and whilst I'm sure that all of the tour guides are equally as passionate, you won't be disappointed if Swee Linn I'd your guide!

We had a good time on this small group Food Tour. Our Guide and his helper were both great. It’s a shame that there were hardly any substitutions available (we did advise up front) as there are lots of people who have specific intolerances or beliefs around foods they can and an’t eat. I appreciate it makes it a little more difficult but there were plenty of acceptable choices that we didn’t have access to.

Linda was an absolutely fabulous guide who generously shared her comprehensive knowledge of Singaporean food as well as lots of other interesting cultural and historical information that we found fascinating. Linda was very interesting and clearly had a good relationship with all the vendors to ensure our trip was as seamless and timely as possible. Would recommend this tour to others and if you are lucky enough to have Linda be your guide it will be an extra bonus.

A nice mix of history and food. Heng was a responsive tour guide and all the food was ready when we arrived at the restaurants and hawker center. We would have really like the tour to be in reverse as the good food was at the end of 3:15 hours of walking and talking and everybody seemed exhausted. We did this tour and the one that starts at 9am and much preferred the earlier one.
