We also proudly take claim for the World’s Cheapest Michelin 1-Star Restaurant! Aimed to satiate discerning taste buds, this tour is a definite must for all foodies! On this 3-hour guided tour, you'll explore the Telok Ayer and Chinatown neighbourhoods and sample local favourites served by humble hawker vendors, heritage brands and household names each backed with an amazing culinary story. Our guides will even take you to sample the world-famous Michelin star hawker - Soya Sauce Chicken Rice. without having to survive a queue! The entire tour will take about 3 hours, depending on group size, walking speed and weather conditions, covering approximately 3km.

5.00Our family of 4 plus our baby had a wonderful time doing the local food tour with Swee. She is so knowledgeable and passionate about Singapore’s history, and explained how it shaped the cuisine. Food is delicious, she’s given us a good mixture of hidden gems and popular Michelin star food. We travelled with our 9 month old baby, and two grandparents she made it very accommodating for all of us! Highly recommend this food tour and Swee!

5.00Rui Heng was excellent. Tour was well thought out with details of food, culture, history and society. Food was generous and spaced out and traveled to several places so it felt comprehensive! Headset made it easy to hear and no need to huddle close. Highly recommend guide and this tour company!

5.00Eric was a great tour guide! He was so knowledgeable about the food and the history of Singapore. Megan was out her of the day making sure to wait in lines ahead of us so our food was ready when we arrived. Overall this is an awesome tour and I'm so full!!!

5.00We had such an amazing experience with Linda! We ate plenty of incredible food and she gave us so much cultural and historical information as we walked. The tour was well paced, so we got to walk in between eating and work our way up to the next stop. She was so knowledgeable and helpful! Would highly recommend for anyone who loves food and wants to get to know the hawker centers.

5.00Marcus was an incredible tour guide. The tastings were excellent and well spaced out and we learned a lot about the history of Chinatown. The stop at the Buddha Tooth Temple was fascinating and Marcus did a great job explaining the meaning of the statues and relics. Highly recommend doing this tour!
