What To Expect
Nordic Unique Travels
Visit a traditional Reindeer Farm, feed reindeer with their favorite snacks, talk to the farmers and know the daily life of the reindeer. Enjoy a delicious traditional Lappish reindeer meat dinner (vegetarian option available), after the dinner try your luck to hunt for the Northern lights in the forest. **Departure time may vary. Please check the email the local provider sends for the exact pick-up time.

1.00Run away! We took the night out with the reindeer and the Northern Lights (price much more expensive on site than on their website). The place is absolutely not conducive to the Northern Lights and we were led to believe that it was because the evening was not conducive to that that night which was completely wrong! Because of them we missed the only evening of our stay where others saw plenty of Northern Lights. Don't go there!

3.00It was expensive for what it was. We drove almost an hour to a small reindeer farm where a local family cooked a meal and then let us feed their reindeer. The reindeer were skiddish and ran away. The family was very nice but the tour should have cost half of what we paid.

1.00It’s not as described. There’s no campfire, sausage or juice nor northern light hunting. We went to all the way north (50 mins ride )to a local reindeer farm to have a reindeer meal. The meal is good, portion is very small though. We are able to feed the reindeer but there’s no reindeer sleigh ride which I thought I have. Then after dinner we suppose to go northern light hunting but NO. We went right back! Our driver is very nice who knew we suppose to have northern light hunt at the farm with the tourist guy there but we didn’t get one. He took us to the one close to rovaniemi but since it’s not north enough there’s no northern light and because we don’t have campfire we are frozen to death. The back and force total 1 hr 30 mins on the car worth nothing. We went all the way to north but didn’t get what I paid for. The tour refuse any refund. It’s a ripoff

5.00We did the northern lights with sleigh ride tonight, our guides were Robin, Tuomos, Sarah and Martis. The team were just brilliant, very patient and kind during the tour and made sure everyone’s needs were met. The timing was perfect, we managed to see the northern lights which were so special and had hot juice and sausages. I would highly recommend for the personal experience they give you. Thanks to the guides!

5.00Well organized hike, despite the -30 degrees the equipment provided is adequate. Very pleasant tour, beautiful landscapes. Our guide Maria was extremely helpful and prepared.

5.00Very authentic moment spent at the reindeer farm, with very caring owners and happy to share their traditions with us! As for the aurora borealis, we didn’t see them with our own eyes, but our super guide Michal struggled and ended up finding them on camera, we were able to immortalize them. A big thank you to him.
