Your journey begins from Split, heading towards the village of Tugarе, where you will experience authentic Dalmatian tradition through one of the most famous local specialties — soparnik. You will visit a traditional family-owned business where you will learn about the history, preparation, and cultural importance of this protected Dalmatian dish. Enjoy a presentation about how soparnik is made using traditional methods, followed by a tasting of this unique local delicacy that represents the heritage of Dalmatia.
Omis
After the gastronomic experience, the tour continues towards the beautiful coastal town of Omiš, known for its rich pirate history and stunning natural surroundings where the Cetina River meets the Adriatic Sea. During the walking tour through the old town, you will discover the history and architecture of Omiš, learn about its famous pirate past, and explore narrow Mediterranean streets filled with historical charm. One of the highlights of the tour is the climb to Mirabella Fortress, a medieval fortress located above the town. From the fortress walls, you can enjoy breathtaking panoramic views of the Omiš coastline, the Cetina River canyon, nearby islands, and the surrounding mountains — perfect for unforgettable photos.

5.00This is a great tour for those who want to see some amazing scenery and try authentic food. Antonia was an amazing guide who gave us some wonder insight into life in the area. Travel was great and the small mini bus made it feel very personal. The stop at the view point on route was stunning. Wear your trainers and take your water shoes as you will want protect your feet.

5.00Antonia was an awesome guide! She was so passionate and informative of the Omis area! It was great learning about the culture and even getting to try Sopornik, what a lovely treat. We also had free time in Omis where my fiance and I decided to climb up the fortress (~10-15 mins) and then decided to head to the local pebble beach (Slavinj) for a swim. This was a great tour and I’d recommend, especially with Antonia!

5.00Antonia was so passionate about the history and culture of her hometown of Omis! We loved the entire tour. Trying a new cuisine, sopornik, was great, she gave us a chance to see a beautiful viewpoint for pictures of Omiš, and we got to explore the city for ourselves! Great tour, would highly recommend.

5.00This is a very interesting tour, in the mountains, that is very beautiful and has great views! Our guide, Antonia, was excellent and very kind. She explained all about Soparnik and after that we tried this delicious traditional Croatian plate (recognized by UNESCO). And then we went to Omiš, a beautiful pirate city with a nice beach! Antonia told us the history of Omiš and gave very nice tips about where to eat and where to go, in the 2 hours free time! I really loved and recommend this tour!

Antonia was an excellent guide - as a local, she shared so many interesting insights and stories about the area that made the experience feel really authentic. She was incredibly passionate, informative, and clearly loves what she does. The soparnik was absolutely delicious and such a unique local specialty to try. Omiš itself was stunning, with beautiful scenery and a gorgeous beach for swimming and relaxing. The whole day was very well organised and had a great balance of culture, food, and free time. Highly recommend this tour!

5.00We had such a fun experience on this day trip to Omis. Antonia is very knowledgeable, friendly, and really makes sure you have a great time! My favorite part was learning how Soparnik is made and of course enjoying it too! This was such a lovely tour!
