Phoenix
After departing the Phoenix metro area, our tour travels through the expansive Sonoran Desert filled with the native saguaro cactus. The scenery begins to change as we increase in elevation and views of the cactus fade into pine trees. As we continue further into Northern Arizona, we will travel the outskirts of the Route 66 town of Flagstaff and from the highway, see the San Francisco Peaks among the seemingly endless Ponderosa Pine Forest, the largest contiguous forest of ponderosa pines in the world.
Sedona

Our tour guide was racist and showed clear disrespect toward me and my family (we are Asian people). I repeatedly asked him to turn on the air conditioner in the van because it was extremely hot in the back, but he either ignored us or turned it on for a short time and then off again. Only after I spoke to the company manager and explained the situation did he suddenly change his behavior and kept the A/C on for the rest of the trip. Also, since my family doesn’t speak English well, he made an offensive comment like, “You’re in America, and your English is so bad.” Who gave him the right to talk to paying customers like that? We didn’t join this tour to listen to his stories — we just wanted to visit Sedona and the Grand Canyon. His attitude ruined the start of our day. If you are an Asian person, I highly recommend not to use this TOUR with racist tour guide!!!!

Our tour guide Mark Lane was an exceptional guide. He made the trip fun and taught us a lot about the history of the sites we saw. Would definitely recommend!

The amount of education provided is amazing. There are plenty of stops along the way grab snacks and drinks to help break up the ling ride to the canyon.

Hans "Solo" was a great guide, personable, funny, and informative. He was on time to pick up my husband and I from our resort. The van was clean, comfortable with plenty of large windows for pictures/videos along the way! The song choices during the drive were appreciated as well! We were so surprised to learn the temperature at the Grand Canyon was about 25 degrees cooler, which was great, being that Scottsdale was 115 degrees! We had plenty of bathroom breaks along the way at nice gas stations with clean bathrooms. We loved the "Big Reveal" at the Grand Canyon, make sure not to cheat if you plan to go!lol Sedona was hotter but so beautiful. I also want to point out how knowledgeable Hans was about EVERYTHING! This day trip was worth the money, I encourage everyone to go!
