Marco and Maria were fantastic! Took into consideration our dietary issues. Started with a breakfast we had a 10 am tour and progressed through various Portuguese establishments. Enjoyed a little bit of the history of the town and foods. Would recommend

Marco and Maria were just wonderful. Extremely organized and accommodating. My friend and I don’t eat fish and they had alternatives. Marco gave very informative tidbits about the islands which was great to hear about as I wasn’t familiar with the history. Our tour guides were very pleasant happy people and we had such a wonderful time!

Had an amazing time, eating wonderful food at a few stops. Tasted some cheeses, fruit and honey at the local market. Ended with an amazing dessert. Great tour to start your visit at Ponta Delgada to see the town and get recommendations on where to have your other meals during your stay there.

Michael, our guide was a funny and entertaining man. Very interactive. However, as an American living abroad, I didn’t appreciate him constantly bad mouthing my nation

Delicious, informative and a great way to spend some time. The restaurants were each unique and the market tour was wonderful. A highlight was the cheese shop and the octopus.

This food tour did not disappoint! Along with getting to eat some really good food, we walked through the city and got some history about the island. We got really lucky, possibly because it's off-season, so there were only 4 people in our group. It was basically a private tour, and our guides were so sweet and friendly. We did the tour on our last full day on the island, and still were offered things we had not tried while we were here. So if you like food and history this is definitely the tour for you.

We always enjoy food tours when travelling and the Hungry Whales tour did not disappoint! Marco gave a great tour that combined history of Azores with the food of the area. His team were highly organized and professional. We highly recommend this for anyone considering an interesting half day in Ponta Delgado.
