On arrival at Vanuatu Ecotours’ exclusive kayak base (our own Garden of Eden!) paddle upstream and downstream for up to 2 hours. Experience Vanuatu’s rainforest and village life by kayak, then swim & play with our tarzan rope. Relax with a fresh fruit platter by the river edge before the drive home. Our most popular tour!

Come with us and experience the serenity of kayaking down a gently flowing freshwater river, surrounded by lush tropical rainforest. Enjoy a cool dip, and have fun swinging on our tarzan rope into the crystal clear waters below. Perfect option for families. Full day tour option includes a French-style lunch and the afternoon relaxing and swimming in the upstream river cascades

5.00Daniel is amazing!!! We had so much fun here, very cruisey, nice lunch and swinging on the rope swing to top it off! Daniel taught us about some of the local customs and nature. Highly recommend!!

It was probably the highlight of my visit to Vanuatu and even though I was very inexperienced I really enjoyed the activity and was definitely my favourite thing to do.!! the tour guides were absolutely incredible and informative Even if you are a beginner, this is very easy and simple to pick up, especially as it was my first time doing it properly on my own. Just do it!!

5.00The tour guide, Roy, Jackie and Daniel were so friendly and helpful. A world of knowledge. The kayak was on a super peaceful river where you could just float down. Would recommend to all new people to kayaking.

5.00My tour guide and driver, Daniel, was amazing at ensuring the tour ran smoothly and with no issues at all. Along the way, Daniel had provided me with the opportunity to learn more about Vanuatus culture which included Kava drinking, what playing sport in Vanuatu is like and certain flora and fauna we had come across during the tour. Unfortunately, my mother who was not able to join Daniel and I on the tour due to sickness and was not able to get a refund due to the late cancellation under 24 hours before the tour. But certain policies are in place and Daniel and the tour company was able to provide a great experience overall for me at least and wished my mother the best. Thanks guys!

5.00The tour was fantastic! Our guides were amazing. It was a quieter tour which meant we could ask more questions and we learnt a lot about the history of Vanuatu. It was exciting to learn about the traditons and Kava more as well. The tour length was great for a half day - wish it was longer only due to great guides and conversations!

5.00Went on a few tours with Ecotours and have been very impressed with the guides, Barbara and Roy lead an excellent Kayak tour, Roy has an encyclopaedia of knowledge regarding Vanuatus history, culture and agriculture. Ecotours also does a lot for the local community which we were very happy to hear and learn about.

5.00Great morning kayaking on the River. Beautiful morning tea of fresh fruit and local biscuits. Our driver was very knowledgeable and shared a lot of information about Vanuatu during our drive to and from the river. Bonus stop driver offered was a stop at the new ice cream shop on the way back to Port Vila.
