Jogyesa Temple
You can see the beautiful architecture of Korean Buddhism with some festivals like lotus lantern festival , lotus festival or Chrysanthemum festival ! Check the golden buddha statues in the main building! * The first buddhism temple built in the center of Seoul and the headquarter. of Korean Buddhism"Jogye order"
Gwanghwamun Square
It shows great panoramic view with the palace complex and natures behind it! It's the main road of Joseon dynasty in front of Gyeongbokgung palace, where you can see the whole view of the palace with two statues , King sejong and Leesunshin , two great man in Korean history! This area is considered "Center of Seoul"

5.00What a fun collection of stops on this tour. We hit lots of the Seoul highlights, with plenty of time at each one to enjoy and get lots of photos. Jung was wonderful and made the tour very special. Her enthusiasm made each piece of information interesting and fun. It was worth it to rent the hanbok at the Buddhist temple. It just made me appreciate the culture a little more. Plus, the pictures look great. And the tea ceremony, was in this wonderful little home, presented by a precious halmeoni. The ceremony and preparation of tea was fascinating because of all the precise steps.

5.00Joey was an excellent tour guide. She was well informed and explained lots about the history, culture, religion and current Korean thinking across our tour. We visited a temple, the palace, hired hanbok outfits (very slick and easy to hire and return next to the palace) and watched the changing of the guard, all of which was excellently scheduled so we could enjoy it all in good time. We had street food lunch at the main food market which was fun before the next leg of our trip. The Bukchong Hanok village was beautiful, though some uphill walking so wear comfy shoes. There is a wonderful perfume shop and various other small stores up there which are worth a look. Insadong was taken at a slower pace - and more chilled out zone of art galleries, craft shops, beautiful tea ware, glassware shops and places to buy amazing tea and other local specialties. It was great to have free time to wander and enjoy the area. We tried iced Omija tea (recommended by Joey) and some toasted rice stcks and red bean desserts. The Omija tea was amazing and so refreshing! Definitely recommend it. Joey also took great care of all the guests, taking photos of everyone in the group at key locations. A great day out.
