Take a walk on the wild side of Tromsø on this small-group outdoor hiking tour and explore the Arctic nature on foot. You'll be taken to the countryside of Tromsø in the middle of beautiful mountains, fjords and valleys, where you and your group will snowshoe up a small mountain or along a valley with a guide. On the tour we will be using snowshoes, which makes it easier and a lot of fun to walk on the snow.
In autumn months and late spring when there is not much snow, the tour is a hiking tour without snowshoes.

I had so much fun with this hike! I loved every bit of the experience from beginning until the end. Our tour guides are wonderful and a lot of fun and the knowledge about the city and island along the way to the hike was great. Our group was a bit big so we split up into 2 groups with two amazing tour guides. Our tour guide, Thomas (hope I spelled it right?), is amazing and so patient with our group. We constantly kept stopping to admire and take pictures/videos of the amazing views of the fjords and landscape even though we needed to meet up with the other group at the top. There was a good balance between having our own free time and trekking along the hike. Not only that, he also kept checking in on us to see how everyone was managing or if we needed a break or help. The hike is a bit of work and the artic weather kept changing from sunny to snow and quite windy but, the views as we hiked further up got even more spectacular and Thomas kept pointing out the beautiful views and took so many wonderful pictures for us. Be sure to dress in layers in the winter. It was definitely necessary. Overall, I loved this experience and if opportunity is given, I will definitely book with Wandering Owl and their team again.

Guides were amazing, I stayed behind in the slower group, hi intensify group was not for beginners and not for low level of fitness. It would have been better to have 2 groups and 2 stops. The slower group had to catch up with the intense group to have hot drinks. My lunch was soaked through due to the hot water flask not being sealed.

Tons of fun hiking outside of the city center of Tromso. Our guide evgeny was knowledgeable, funny, and made the hike fun. It was a pretty easy hike in terms of difficulty. No snow in tromoso that day, but it was sunny which is rare in nov. Also some great photo opportunities as well
