At Tenerife Stars, we are outgoing people. We like to explore, discover, experience, and enjoy Tenerife.
We are passionate about cultures, people, communications, outdoor activities, and hiking.
We have been working as travel guides in Tenerife for more than 10 years, and our passion is providing people with personalised and customized tours and experiences.
The unique Teide National Park experience is one of our favorites, and it's the highlight of Tenerife. You will enjoy every moment of it!
Being able to relax during the entire experience and we'll guide you through every area. Also, we will provide you with information and stories about the national park and history of the island which is very interesting and makes the experience unique and special.
Not to forget, we only organise small groups and this makes the entire experience much more comfortable and more personalised rather than joining a big bus with way too many people on the tour.

Vilaflor
Here we'll have time to enjoy the Vilaflor town and have a little walk at the square and center of the beautiful and peaceful center of the village. Also, we'll have time to get to a local cafeteria and enjoy some local coffee and or treats. This way we get to acclimatize to the height around 1500m.
El Pino Gordo
At this magical place, we will enjoy a view of one of the oldest Canary pine trees on the island. So thick and so high, you'll be amazed by the size and age of this wonderful pine tree. Great moment for photography!

Very comfortable, nice guide, we got picked up on time and dropped off on time. Also learnt a lot as the guide was knowledgeable and looked after us really well. Only thing was we felt one hour at Teide still felt short as it was very big to explore within an hour. But very good tour if it’s your first time and want to get a quick taster to see a lot in half a day. So I would very much still recommend it :)

We booked this specifically as a small-group, guided daytime volcanic tour and had planned our day around it. The operator cancelled at the exact pickup time with no advance notice. We were then offered a “stargazing” alternative over the phone, with very limited information. When I asked questions, I was told it was comparable and “the same time,” which was inaccurate. The original tour was a 4-hour daytime guided hike. The replacement was a 6-hour nighttime experience in near-freezing temperatures. No details were provided through the booking platform. Instead, we later received a WhatsApp message advising us to bring gloves and winter jackets for 0°C conditions. We were on a beach holiday and did not have appropriate gear, which I had already explained to the operator. Further, this was not a small-group experience. Reviews and information indicate these tours can involve very large groups (40–70 people), often with a restaurant stop and long periods standing in the cold. This is completely different from the guided daytime hike we booked. I asked whether a comparable daytime option was available and received no response. I never confirmed acceptance of the alternative and did not participate in any tour. Despite this, the operator marked the experience as “redeemed.” After the fact, I saw multiple reviews describing the same pattern: last-minute cancellations and being redirected into a different stargazing tour with larger groups and a different format. Very disappointing experience and not what was advertised. I have requested a refund based on these circumstances and, at the time of writing, it has not been approved.

We were looking forward to our trip when it was suddenly, without explanation or apology that was cancelled. 😠

The best way to discover the Teide. We had an excellent Ozi guide who knew the subject really well, a nice small group of 6 people and had a wonderful morning. Nothing like the big buses we tested before. It would be great if this activity could be combined with a hike of an hour or two on this exceptional site!

Just returned from a very pleasant 4 hour trip. Pick up close to the hotel, very comfortable minibus with a small group. The minibus can go to smaller villages which cant be accessed by larger coaches. Several stops to see villages, demonstration of how mountains were climbed in the old days, then up to the foot of Mount Teide. Ozzy is very knowledgeable and a very good guide, giving clear and interesting commentary during the whole trip. Thank you so much

The trip to the National Park was the highlight of our short stay in Tenerife. Ozzie, our guide, was very knowledgeable. He was relaxed and friendly and we were not under any time pressure. The small bus got us to locations where larger coaches would have difficulty accessing. I highly recommend visiting the National Park in a small group. The stop in the small village was also an enjoyable experience where we got to view the beautiful old church. This trip cost a little more than a coach but it's definitely worth it.

The tour was interesting and informative. We really liked the guide, Ozzy, who was very cheerful, joked a lot, and explained everything in a very engaging way. We were also treated to delicious traditional food from the island of Tenerife. However, we have some serious questions for the organizers. The thing is, there are many Teide tours on Tripadvisor. Most of them are focused on sunsets and stargazing—which is, of course, interesting—but we specifically chose this tour because it included 9 stops in different parts of Teide National Park. We wanted to see the park itself in daylight and in a small group (8 people), exactly as stated in the description. According to Tripadvisor rules, customers can cancel a tour no later than 24 hours before it starts. However, these rules do not seem to apply to the organizers. Throughout the entire day before the tour, I contacted the organizers to clarify whether the tour would take place (since I could see that they hadn’t reached the minimum group size, and we could have booked with other organizers instead), but no one replied. Only later in the evening did I receive a WhatsApp message saying that the tour would take place. They also mentioned that in addition to the park, we would do stargazing with a telescope in the evening and advised us to dress warmly. You can imagine our disappointment when, instead of a group of 8 people, a bus for 30–40 people—almost completely full—picked us up. And instead of a proper tour of the park, we only saw one small part of it at sunset (although it was very beautiful), and then spent about two hours in freezing cold stargazing. I want to stress that Ozzy’s storytelling was engaging, but this was absolutely not the experience we had booked. The worst part is that we paid $77 per person for a Teide National Park tour, while the stargazing tour was cheaper and cost $48, yet no refund was offered. I consider this to be a serious deception on the part of the organizers. This was our last day in Tenerife, and in the end, we never really got to see the park at all.

Excellent tour with Ozzy. He knew the roads and timings for the busy spots really well. Very informative and great fun. Definitely recommend this as a small minibus means you can go places coaches can't.
