Lots of fun, lots of learning, great views. The suspension bridge has great views of the river, the tree walk is also great. You could spend hours there exploring. Then we went on the gondola up to the top of Grouse Mountain. The Grizzly Bears were out of hibernation. The caretakers were awesome and answered so many questions. It was very educational. In the afternoon the weather cleared and we had great views of the greater Vancouver area. With only 6 people on the tour we had a great experience. Definitely do this tour.

Small group travel is great for connecting with the local tour guide and getting to know the culture and area at a more personal level. It also feels more efficient because there are less people to wait on Lucio was great. Warm and engaging. Shared lots of interesting factoids. Capilano suspension bridge and surrounds are beautiful. The scenic gondola ride up Grouse mountain was fun. The grizzly bear brothers were awesome to see.

The tour company had organised a change in tour time (as agreed by all) to a couple of hours earlier. There were 4 of us on the tour and the guide gave us information about the areas and Vancouver itself throughout the tour. The guide was on time and everything ran smoothly. Enjoyed both experiences thoroughly with a good amount of time at both places and then time to drive by a couple of other areas with a stop by the stunning Horseshoe Bay. Was a great day!

We didn’t want to try driving on the wrong side of the road to our normal, or worry about parking. We chose a small group tour so we didn’t spend time seeing lots of hotel car parks while picking up people. We went to Capilano first and it starts with crossing the suspension bridge. We had about 1 hr 45 which was the right amount of time to do all the tree and cliff walks and read the history boards by the entry. The trees themselves were amazing - huge, tall and straight. (If you don’t like heights then this is not the place for you.) Grouse Mountain was only a ten minute drive after that. A short steep cable car ride gets you to the top. In April there was still snow at the top and the bears had only just come out of hibernation, but we did get to see them and listen to the keepers talk. We had missed the owl talk so if you want to see the animals check on the website for times to see if your tour time covers that. My boots had tred but others without were slipping around on the snow covered paths. We had fabulous sunny weather and enjoyed great views down to Vancouver. We had about 2 hours at the top which was plenty due to the snow as it was tricky to walk around in it. (And the ski season was over) We grabbed a coffee and sat on the deck to enjoy the sunshine and watch the people emerging at the top of the Grouse grind. Our guide Luciano was friendly, informative and a good driver.
