This 7-hour tour begins with a trip to Waterbury and Stowe, where we will visit a number of popular local attractions. Treat your taste buds at the Ben & Jerry’s Ice Cream Factory and Cold Hollow Cider Mill, then visit the historic Trapp Family Lodge — the same Von Trapp family that inspired The Sound of Music. Our Vermont tours visit only the most interesting locations, such as a scenic drive to the top of Smugglers’ Notch State Park. You will also have a chance to explore Stowe village.

Our first stop will be at the Ben & Jerry’s Factory in Waterbury. There, you will take 30-minute tour which includes a short film about their history, followed by a guided walkthrough of the production facilities, ending with free samples of their latest flavor! After the factory tour, there will be time to explore the gift shop.
Our next stop of the day will be the Cold Hollow Cider Mill, also in Waterbury Center. Cold Hollow is one of Vermont’s leading producers of apple cider, but they also carry a number of other Vermont-made products as well, such as maple syrup and other specialty items. The first thing you will notice when entering Cold Hollow Cider Mill is the amazing smell of fresh apples being transformed into cider. The aroma always reminds us of Autumn, but fortunately for us, Cold Hollow Cider Mill is open year ’round! Once inside, you can help yourself to free samples of their freshly made cider, plus sample locally made jams and preserves. And of course, there is plenty of food for sale as well. (You will not want to leave without trying a hot cider donut!)

We had a great time exploring the Stowe area with Natalia — she’s a fantastic host! Can’t wait to visit VT again and try more of her tours

It was so freeing and a comfort to be escorted to the beautiful sites like the Trapp Family Lodge and Smuggler's Notch State Park. Natalia is a wonderful tour guide and shares so much information about each area that we visited. We also loved going to the Cold Hollow Cider Mill and tasting the delicious fresh squeezed apple cider. We're so glad that Natalia told us about their melt-in-your-mouth cider donuts!! We also visited the famous Ben and Jerry's Ice Cream Factory! The ice cream cemetery, where the retired flavors go, was fun to see.

A really great day from start to end. Right from the start Natalia made us feel welcomed and that we were going to have a good experience. Natalia made us feel a part of the Vermont experience, providing us with a good picture of the places we were visiting, eg, Stowe, Cold Hollow Cider Mill, the Von Trapp Family Lodge, the 'covered bridge' etc, (too many places to list). She also provided good information about the areas we travelled through together with a few additional small detours to some interesting sights. She provided us with and good inside information on places we passed and visited without information overload. We had sufficient time in each location and never felt pressured to hurry up. A good, fun relaxing day with plenty to see and some great photo opportunities.

This was a great tour. Natalia picked us up in Woodstock and from there she showed us all Vermont had to offer! The highlights were the Cold Hollow Cider Mill and the drive through Notch State Park just before it closes for Winter. Natalia was very friendly and knowledgeable – it’s clear she loves her job! We would definitely recommend this tour.

I visited Burlington on my own, without a car, and booked the Waterbury-Stowe day tour so that I could explore Vermont beyond Burlington. I coordinated with Natalia to take the tour on a day when she had a four-person group already booked. However, when I met her at my hotel, she told me that the group had cancelled the night before. When I asked her why she hadn't cancelled with me, she said that she didn't cancel. While I certainly would have been disappointed had our tour not gone ahead, I surely would have understood, given that it was now just the two of us. But off we went, and the fact that the tour did go ahead speaks volumes about Natalia. It was a super fun day, and Natalia was a wonderful guide to the area. We covered a lot of territory - Cold Hollow Cider Mill (featuring a wide variety of gifts, an exhibit showing how apple cider is made, and free samples of the cider), Trapp Family Lodge, Smugglers' Notch State Park, downtown Stowe (with time for me to have lunch and explore Main Street), and a tour of the Ben & Jerry’s factory. Throughout the day, she gave me background info on what I was seeing, and the time just flew by. Yes, I could have rented a car and driven to the same places on my own, but I wouldn't have had the additional knowledge and history. Highly recommended!

The tour was perfect for my family. My wife and my 5-year old boy enjoyed their first western country visit. I had lived in Vermont for 2 years in high school as a dorm student. I have joined many weekend trips organised by the school but did not realise there are more attractions I haven't been to. Our tour guide was professional and warm, including knowing the interesting stories behind each attraction around Stowe and her passion of making tourists satisfied. Vermont is full of historical and natural scenic sites. Thanks for the memorable experience!

Had an excellent time with Natalia!. Got a good view of the history of the Stowe area and we compared notes a bit about the differences from New Hampshire where I grew up. An excellent introduction to this area, and Natalia has many good facts and snippets of information about Vermont in general. Recommend.

The day spent on Natalia's tour was my favorite day of the Vermont trip! She knows the area so well and takes you to some beautiful and fun places. This is a must for those looking to get to know the state instead of just staying in one city in Vermont.

My trip to Vermont was spectacular, I visited Vermont in fall and got to witness beautiful fall foliage. We drove through Smuglers Notch and some other very interesting places. Burlington is a quint essential town/ city that doesn’t look like any state in America.
