Due to a few stairs to access wine cellars, this tour is not accessible for those using a wheelchair
Vegetarian & gluteen free, can be accommodated, please advise at time of booking under special requirements.
Wines tasted: reds typical of the Chianti region ( normally Chianti Classico, Riserva, Super Tuscans, Gran Selezione, etc.).
Operates rain or shine, please dress appropriately
Luggage can be stored on the bus during the tour, if needed
Return at departure point: 1:45pm for the 9.00am tour - 7:00pm for the 2:30pm tour. To reserve other activities, allow plenty of time, in case of heavy traffic, etc.
Visited wineries may vary depending on their availability, etc.; they may be 2 of the following Fattoria Montecchio, Casa Emma, San Michele a Torri, Villa Poggio Torselli, Podere Anselmo, Casa di Monte, Tenuta Capponi, Villa i Langi, Tenuta San Vito, etc.
For cruise ship passengers only: if your ship docks at Livorno or La Spezia Port, be advised that the driving time to the meeting point in Florence is approx. 2 hours. Before booking, be sure your ship schedule works with our departure times, and you have your own transportation arranged from the port to Florence and back.

What To Expect
Drive through the Tuscan wine country while your guide introduces you to the great wine culture of Tuscany, sharing interesting info about what you will experience, see and do. Stop to the first winery and taste 3 or more wines, olive oil... Enjoy a short ride admiring the marvellous Tuscan countryside, to the second wine estate, where a tasty cold cuts platter is served and paired with a selection of wines, olive oil, etc.

5.00Excellent trip - a drive through lovely countryside to Fattoria Montecchio where .the owner took us through the cellars & then to taste 4 of his excellent wines as well as their own olive oil & balsamic vinegar.Then to another winery nearby where we tasted more wine & olive oil as well as cheese and enjoyed more lovely views .Matteo , our guide was helpful & friendly ant took a group photo at the end. The whole trip was very enjoyable & exceeded our expectations .We were group of about 20 so not too big

He obviously loves his career and did an amazing job at keeping everyone entertained throughout the day - he is an asset to the company

5.00this tour was fantastic. you definitely get your bang for you buck! The sample sizes are a very decent size and going to two wineries in 4.5 hours was the perfect amount of time. They were fantastic and the wine and views were amazing. Our tour guide Jonathon was great as well.

5.00Mateo was an excellent host. He was knowledge about the wine and olive oil professions and Italy in general. The wineries that we visited had different atmospheres. The first one was a mom and pop winery that had excellent wine and olive oil. The second one was more upscale and had wine that was just as good as the first place. With the addition of some great snacks. There was ample time to wine taste and explore the vineyards. We spent about an hour and a half at both places. I would give a trip a 9/10. The bus was slightly small (I’m pretty tall and was hitting my knees against the seat in front of me. And the group size was about 20-30 people.
