Minimum age to join the tour is 12 years old; infants are not allowed
Drinking age is 18 years old
Due to a few stairs to access wine cellars, this tour is not accessible for those using a wheelchair
Vegetarian & gluteen free, can be accommodated, please advise at time of booking under special requirements.
Wines tasted: reds typical of the Chianti region ( normally Chianti Classico, Riserva, Super Tuscans, Gran Selezione, etc.).
Operates rain or shine, please dress appropriately
Luggage can be stored on the bus during the tour, if needed
Return at departure point: 1:45pm for the 9.00am tour - 7:00pm for the 2:30pm tour. To reserve other activities, allow plenty of time, in case of heavy traffic, etc.
Visited wineries may vary depending on their availability, etc.; they may be 2 of the following Fattoria Montecchio, Casa Emma, San Michele a Torri, Villa Poggio Torselli, Podere Anselmo, Casa di Monte, Tenuta Capponi, Villa i Langi, Tenuta San Vito, etc.
For cruise ship passengers only: if your ship docks at Livorno or La Spezia Port, be advised that the driving time to the meeting point in Florence is approx. 2 hours. Before booking, be sure your ship schedule works with our departure times, and you have your own transportation arranged from the port to Florence and back.

What To Expect
Drive through the Tuscan wine country while your guide introduces you to the great wine culture of Tuscany, sharing interesting info about what you will experience, see and do. Stop to the first winery and taste 3 or more wines, olive oil... Enjoy a short ride admiring the marvellous Tuscan countryside, to the second wine estate, where a tasty cold cuts platter is served and paired with a selection of wines, olive oil, etc.

5.00This 1/2 day adventure was the perfect way to see the countryside and enjoy 2 great wineries. Comfortable ride, Jason the knowledgeable entertaining master, and tasting of wines, olive oils, and balsamic served with cheeses/bread/meats. We saw the grounds, the cellars, and hillsides for growing. Jason added the energy and fun! Thanks for a great experience!!

5.00Great tour, the wine was fantastic. The extra virgin olive oils and balsamic were also great with the bread, cheese and cold meats we had. The tour, guide and wineries were 10/10, scenery included. Would highly recommend.

3.00Our tour leader Jason was amazing !!!! He had great energy and it set the tone for a fun excursion !!!! I had called a few weeks ago to inquire as to what wineries would be included on this tour . I was told it was not to be disclosed until the day of the tour . I now understand why Both wineries had the most MEDIOCRE and $$$$$$ wine . Neither place served anything that was really worth drinking and definitely NOT worth purchasing . In Tuscany where they are a multitude of fabulous vineyards , I can’t imagine why these two were chosen BIG Disappointment !!!

3.00Let’s start with the positives !!! JASON. We all absolutely loved Jason our guide . He made the excursion super enjoyable . I had called a few weeks prior to inquire which two vineyards we would be visiting . I was told they could NOT be shared but I figured how could anything be bad ?? BOY was i wrong .. We went to two Vineyards today . Both had the most subpar mediocre wine for a lot of $$$$$. Maybe Viator gets a % of from sales if someone on the tour purchases because that is truly the ONLY reason I can think of picking these two …. BUMMER!!!

5.00OMG what can i say…this has been a live changing experience, I started off quiet but Jason Quickly turned the vibe of the bus into something special. The wineries were amazing especially montecchilo and the old vibe of it! The ride back was fantastic we were all singing and having a blast, Jason the director managed the orchestra. I can’t thank this guy enough, me and my family truly had the best time of our lives, can’t wait to come back again with my friends. Thank you Jason, tou truly are a genius !
