Due to a few stairs to access wine cellars, this tour is not accessible for those using a wheelchair

Wines tasted: reds typical of the Chianti region ( normally Chianti Classico, Riserva, Super Tuscans, Gran Selezione, etc.).
Operates rain or shine, please dress appropriately
Luggage can be stored on the bus during the tour, if needed
Return at departure point: 1:45pm for the 9.00am tour - 7:00pm for the 2:30pm tour. To reserve other activities, allow plenty of time, in case of heavy traffic, etc.
Visited wineries may vary depending on their availability, etc.; they may be 2 of the following Fattoria Montecchio, Casa Emma, San Michele a Torri, Villa Poggio Torselli, Podere Anselmo, Casa di Monte, Tenuta Capponi, Villa i Langi, Tenuta San Vito, etc.
For cruise ship passengers only: if your ship docks at Livorno or La Spezia Port, be advised that the driving time to the meeting point in Florence is approx. 2 hours. Before booking, be sure your ship schedule works with our departure times, and you have your own transportation arranged from the port to Florence and back.

What To Expect
Drive through the Tuscan wine country while your guide introduces you to the great wine culture of Tuscany, sharing interesting info about what you will experience, see and do. Stop to the first winery and taste 3 or more wines, olive oil... Enjoy a short ride admiring the marvellous Tuscan countryside, to the second wine estate, where a tasty cold cuts platter is served and paired with a selection of wines, olive oil, etc.

5.00I booked this literally the night before for my mum and I whilst we’re in Florence. We did the 9am one and got back for about 1:30pm, which was perfect as it gave us the rest of the day. We had the most enjoyable time! Jason our guide was fantastic and he had so much knowledge to share about Florence, Italy and wine on our way there. The journey was only about 30-40 mins too if that, so felt super quick through the beautiful views. Both the vineyards we visited were so beautiful and the wines and cheeses to pair with were gorgeous. I was abit unsure about booking this trip as it was Easter Sunday, but honestly we had the best time and cannot recommend it enough. If you’re unsure just do it, you won’t regret it! The views were also outstanding of Tuscany. A huge thank you to Jason for being incredible and to Sergio our driver!

5.00This was an awesome experience!! The tour guide, Davide, was super knowledgeable about the Tuscany region and made the experience very fun! We visited two small family owned vineyards, where they provided bread, meats, cheese and tastings of their olive oil and balsamic. Overall this was such a fun experience and would highly recommend!!

5.00Really felt like we got our money’s worth on this one - the drive was very comfortable with our driver Leo who also provided some great trivia/history/narration along the way. Both wineries (Casa Emma & Fattoria Montecchio) had a great selection of tastings, but the latter (Fattoria Montecchio) was definitely our favorite since we got a tour of the facilities and more wine & food than we could handle. Our group was about 20-30 people in total so not too overwhelming and still felt like an intimate experience. Highly recommend to anyone who is stuck wading through dozens of options here on Viator.

5.005 star experience! My parents went to this experience for their 30th wedding anniversary while in Italy! The wine tour was fun, interactive and they learned so much while at the vineyard! Jonathan was very knowledgeable. Would recommend this experience to anyone going to Italy!
